First, I'm not from America yet I'm posting here and I'll explain you why.
I think what you are saying would only escalate the stereotypical view we have of Americans.
Especially in Europe.

I'm very interested in American politics because the news we get is not as objective as many believe or claim it is.
We only see the republicans being the dark force in the universe and the democrats being the light side.

I don't want to tell you whats wrong with your nation as our nations are in the same sinking boat.
My point is that I would personally appreciate it if I could contribute to this thread as a foreigner by gaining knowledge of the current situation; especially to learn how Americans think of the situation.

We Europeans or other peoples from the world can still have an objective opinion of your nation and government.
We are not all snared in the stereotypical views; just as not all Americans are what we are told.

I'm sorry that this is a little bit off topic I just wanted to get it off my chest. It surely feels like an instable America means an instable planet earth.
We do not all agree with what has happened in the past decades but we haven't had a world war either and that's because there are still honest people here and there doing their best.

Ok, fair enough.

Yeah, the whole premise or idea that Reps are evil and Dems are truth and pure is a farce.
Both sides, and I do mean both sides, are about as corrupt as the other.

Both have their hands in every pot, and steal from the American Citizen.

Don't buy into the one side is better then the other BS.

I do lean more Right then Left. But, but....I am a Conservative Libertarian. Which, basically puts me in the cross hairs of both.
I despise 0bama and Bush. Both are/were terrible.

He works a record 330 days a year and has taken 2 vacas this year. What mutli vacations are you referring to and what planet are you living on?

No more war, a stable deficit, shut down out of control spending (remember 43 put like $12 Trillion on the card and yet you remain dead silent on that, can you say hypocrite?), TARP was signed into law October 2008,

The more I read of your garbage, the more I think you should change your mood from:

ILLUMINATED to BLINDED

Wake up.

why aren't the republicans helping Obama to punish the investment houses and/or people that did this to america?
why aren't the republicans helping Obama to set up the agency that will protect consumers?
why aren't the republicans helping Obama set up medical coverage for the poor?
why aren't the republicans passing legislation to bring back jobs to America?
why aren't the republicans passing legislation to insure we have clean drinking water from the large natural gas companies "fraking" procedures?
why aren't the republicans passing legislation to help the bottom 95%?
because they don't give a damn

ok, I will play.....

1. this function falls to the SEC, so why is the SEC not investigating and prosecuting, or why is Eric Holder not investigating?

2. Consumer protection is NOT a federal government function, even still there is the FTC or federal trade commission. You could always use this noel idea called personal responsibility and think "buyer beware"

3. medical coverage for the poor eh? Well, even before the healthcare bill was bribed through congress, there is this thing called MEDICAID!!! oh, and the local county health department. Plus the hospitals can not refuse treatment because of an inability to pay, so get off this argument, poor people could still get healthcare before obamacare was passed, speaking of which, hows that obamacare law working out thus far?

4. Well, first to have to identify the reasons firms take jobs overseas. This happens primarily to reduce the corporate income tax burden and payroll taxes America has the highest cost for doing business, BEFORE you add in the wages of the employees. So, if you were to reduce the corporate income tax rates, which most repubicans want , or at least say they want, would help in this regard. Raises these taxes as per Obamas ideas will only hurt more.

5. clean drinking water falls to the EPA, so why is the EPA not doing one of the primary functions?

6. Helping the bottom 95% begins with making more growth possible within the economy. That starts by lowering taxes that impact employers, it does not end there by no means, but more regulation within the economy and higher taxes do not help, and most republicans want to decrease these growth inhibitors.

Now, this is not a ringing endorsement of the republican party, but, one must look at the cause and effect. on the flip side, taxing at even higher rates impacts the employers, then you add in all the federal fees, such as the carbon fees the EPA is now putting on airlines, trying to tax jet manufactures even higher etc ya know, all the things the dems and liberals embrace does nothing but take more money from the economy and puts it in the governments back pocket,

Adding more government by adding new laws and more departments does nothing but suck more money from all our pockets and cause government to become even less efficient then it allready is. What we need is to trim the government we already have, streamline it, make it more efficient.

Oblaba had the whole 111th Congress (2009/2010) to do all of the above.

Why didn't NObama do this and take credit?

Answer: He didn't want to.

Answers to what Obama has done

Read those...then let me know what you think..

They could not even counter any of the facts...the thread went no where..because when it comes to Obama bashers they do not want facts...they only want what they can make up in their little minds...

As for the bill...why are you also not angry with the authors of the bill - Senators John McCain and Carl Levin.

He's played 88 rounds of golf since becoming idiot in chief. I LOVE golf. I haven't played 88 rounds of golf in the last 10 years and I don't have the "most demanding job on the face of the planet."

4 hours per round: that's if you don't suck (he sucks)... but we'll go with 4 hours per round. 4x88=352 hours. Over 3 years: 117 hours a year. Roughly spends 1 month a year playing golf.

I freaking WISH I had that kind of time. FORTUNATELY, I have a job, a family, and selfish crap like that comes last.

Quite telling, actually.

President Obama’s Vacation Days

If your going to complain about something do your homework and stop reading other peoples blogs for facts..

Also...you are aware that Obama is not the only president to take vacations nor has he taken the most...

It is just a lie that the bashers say to make him look bad.
