On the tool bar, go to members and look at the "last visit" column,
notice that members that haven't made any post are dated Dec 31, 1969.

...if you go to the last page (currently page 2199) you'll see it better.

What's the deal with the date of Dec 31, 1969?..............is this just a glitch?
......or does it mean something?......Is there some secret meaning behind it?

This is AboveTopSecret, so you never know.

Has anyone noticed this before?

I know ATS wasn't around in 1969, so it is a mystery.

December 31 – The date you are commonly given when a computer's time is set to 0 in seconds. Start of the Unix Epoch.

It's most likely written in Unix. Unix makes its default date (Unix Birthday) the day after this date. Therefore, any return of zero on the date registers one day earlier. This is a common default setting in Unix systems.
