It's not used any more in the more progressive universities because it "divides people" .. however it is a term defined for Human use alone. We do not say that Blacks are a "Species" or a "Breed" we say a "Race" ... a type of Human with a common ancestry. White are white because of specific genetic mutations that all Caucasians share, same with Asians and Blacks.. each of the three major races is then divided into thousands of ethnicity's based on a isolated inbreeding making certain traits more distinct than others of the same race. Latino's for example are of the Asian race, but one of hundreds of Native American ethnicity, most Mexicans being bi-racial.

What am I supposed to do? I didn't hop a fence. I came here legally. I've had to work for a long time to get the money together for my papers, I've had to make serious sacrifices and put many things on hold to make sure I'm legal. And they get to just walk on in and get what they want because people like you wanna protect them for their own ends?

You sir, are one of the reasons I fight against illegal immigration! I commend you for being respectful and coming here the proper way. I hold much respect for you.No one should be able to jump in front of you in line just because they want to. That is arrogant and disrespectful.

Some say that there are people who cannot come here legally. Well, there are people from all over the world who also cannot go to other Countries for whatever reasons. There are laws and there are borders for reasons.

However, NO ONE should be thanked or commended for using the front door and not breaking in through a window. That's just what decent and honest people do. They knock first before entering someone's home.

Nothing to do with Pseudo-Science. It is Science. In the western world, only americans continue to use this dated, and irrellevant, term, much to my incomprehension.

In fact, outside of america, such as in the UK/rest of Europe, the term is nowadays the exclusivity of extreme rightwing racists and racialists.

Posting a definition isn't really relevant. In my countries dictionnary, the term "race" is defined as an early twentieth century scientific fallacy.

That's nice and all, but if you are not in the US, I fail to see where you think you get to define the terms, for the US.

I don't know if it was going places after the 2:30 mark, but in my opinion, there was no substance in either side of that discussion, just appeals to the same old emotional arguments. No definition of "white" (because upon defining it there is only cultural Gestalt and no actual objective, substantive proof of "white" or "black").

At any rate, no discussion of why illegal immigration exists, who profits from it, who suffers from it, why it's a lose-lose situation for both sides of the border, why it boils down to institutionalized slavery, etc.
