The wife and I just got over what I'm callinhg the Flu or a cold. There were some odd symptoms so I thought I would post them and see what's up with you guys. If any body else would like to use this thread to do the same thing it all good.

This was some crap you guys

Pnuemonia type systoms.

Attacked the lungs first with malice it settled in the upper back high in the lungs creating a dull pain.
created a flim that produced a naggiung hacking cough. The use of onions once again peeps did seem to help
a speedy dismissal, but the cough is only slowly fading.

Lasted at least five days.

Also caused us both nose bleeds. Something I do get once in a while while the wiefe never gets them.

That cough...Did it feel like you had strands of cotton wool stuck in your throat?.
It's the only way I can describe it..and coughing virtually nothing of merit up but salty spit. I had it twice this year, first time antibiotics nearly killed me, second time I killed it with multi vits and 4 garlic tablets a day.

My 4yo had this. It was horrible. Tried to go the holistic route but this thing had him coughing like he was going to hack up his lungs. Was very strange. The cough was very thick sounding but produced nothing in the way of phlegm or mucus. He had the nosebleeds as well. Cough suppressors and expectorants had no effect. He was diagnosed at the hospital as having walking pneumonia. The super antibiotics they put him on eventually knocked it out, but i still dont think it was pneumonia. He had no abnormal chest sounds and had a clean xray.
