I enjoyed:

Bigfoot: The Story of Apes in America by Loren Coleman (has some personal accounts)
Silent Invasion: the Pennsylvania UFO-Bigfoot Casebook by Stan Gordon
Monsters of Pennsylvania by Patty A. Wilson

The book Legend Meets Science by Jeff Meldrum isn't case studies but still an interesting read.

I haven't read them yet but someone recommended the Rusty Wilson Bigfoot campfire story books saying they are true tales he collected working as a hunting/fishing guide.

I also have on my "to read" list another book by Loren Coleman: True Giants.

Not a book but I go to bfro.net every week and read the Bigfoot encounter reports submitted there.

That is all I can think of right now for Bigfoot related books. Jerome Clark also has some books that touch on Bigfoot and lake Monsters but cover many other strange tales as well. I read his book Unexplained and enjoyed it but again it covers a wide amount of strange occurrences.

I also really liked Linda Godfrey's Beast of Bray Road books but The Beast is supposedly a werewolf/dogman not Bigfoot.

You're welcome. Did you read Field Guide to Lake Monsters Sea Serpents and Other Mysterious Denizens of the Deep by Loren Coleman? Of so, what did you think? I see it gets high marks at Amazon.com. I haven't read it but I may be getting it from a young relative as a gift soon. :-)

Unfortunately books by the big 4 are becoming harder and harder to find. I did realize that I don't own anything by John Green so I think I will have to rectify that.

You can find books by the big 4 really easy on Amazon. That is where I got all of mine. The prices are decent too.

Doesnt redfern have two other books that are similar too? "There is something in the woods" and "Three guys chasing the unknown" or something?
