How is anti-matter defined? Is it a nucleus of electrons & neutrons with orbiting protons, or do the electrons and protons in a "normal" atom simply switch charges?

Antimatter has been created in labs. It's jsut so obscenely expensive to make that it has no real use beyond studying it at this time.

As for your question, simply put-

In regular matter, a proton has a positive charge and an electrion has a negative charge.

In antimatter, the charges are reversed (hence the term, 'anti-'). Protons have a negative charge and electrons have a positive one.

Don't worry about MysticalUnicorn. I think it's great that you're willing to do research on subjects a lot of people could care less about.

Keep your head up and keep striving!
