FINALLY-Something MacGyver CANT fix!!

WOW! I gotta say I lost alot of respect for him. Richard dean anderson found himself with puzzling car troubles and he appears to be at a loss waiting for a tow!!!

Of course, he hasn't been Macgyver in a long time. You know if you don't use it you loose it. Of course, he more recently went through star gates, so meh.

He probably didn't have his trusty paperclip with him. People get a little forgetful at old age

The way they make cars now, it takes more than an actor to fix them.
YOU would have been standing there right next to him saying.... "Uhmm... looks like the fitzer valve is stuck... did you check the flux capacitor?"

Give an actor a break.
They can't all be mechanics like you.

I am sure Amanda Tapping is giving him hell over this.. If you see the outtakes from Stargate she's among the most vicious about picking on him for being MacGuyver.
