shooting stars over cambridgeshire uk

i dont know if this is the right place to have this but does anyone know of a site i can look at to find out info about this since 7pm uk time ive had shooting stars over my house and they are getting quite frequent at the moment 23pm uk time.
ive seen nothuing on the news about this so i want to see if there is a meteor shower, space rubbish or something.else
i dont know much about space but its facinating me at the moment

It's likely the Geminids. They're going on right now. I'll have to go out and see if I can see them tonight. Hope it isn't cloudy!

Can they be seen in N. America.

I guess it does not matter. Because there are so many chemtrails over Memphis, Tn. this afternoon, they would block out any decent view that we would potentially have.........Anyhoo

thanks for the reply. its really clear here and some are so bright we usually get clouds when things like this happen so it s great seeing some for a change

glad someone else has seen them my family thought i was mad at first until they saw some themselves
i was driving when i saw them i nearly crashed it was so bright

any ideas how long this display goes on for?
its a real sight to see,but its so damn cold now.

We are past the peak now, but you should still see a few if you go out and look tonight.
