Prince hassan airbase has been used in the past by coalition troops ( Aussie, NZ, Brit special forcess tend to use us kit/uniform not coz it's better but because no ones surprised to see a us uniform in countries you don't expect - the yanks sticking their nose in theory )

I don’t believe a word that comes out of Sibel Edmounds mouth or a word she writes, as far as I am concerned she is just trying to make a name for herself. I don’t think this source is in anyway reliable enough to conclusively say that there is an amassing US military forces on the Jordanian, Syrian border.

However.

If this is indeed the case, I would suspect the reason for this is to keep a watchful eye on events and to ensure that America and NATO have the capability in place to rescue any of their citizens who may need to be evacuated if they are still in the country, rather than an invasion force. It would make sense for there to be a NATO presence on the boarder to assist citizens form NATO states fleeing the violence and also have a force reading to move out to rescue any citizens trapped. It’s probably much like the operations we say British SAS taking part in early in the Libyan up-rising whereby they took part in the rescue of British nationals cut off in the desert. If this force is out there it is just gathering intelligence and assisting fleeing NATO nationals out of Syria.

Syria will not be like Libya.
