I found this a short while ago and thought this story might be
of some interest to some of us here.We have had so many
threads lately of animal abuse I thought something positive
would be a nice change.
I really wish that I was "caring" for this cat.

Cats need someone to take care of them.It is not the cat's
fault that their owner was wealthy, lonely and no apparent
heirs.

It wouldn't take a genius to realize the fallacy of giving an animal (of any kind) millions of dollars.

humans dont need money they need food water and warmth what do you mean saved?

people are starving because other people are not prepared to share . and thats evil

doesnt matter how you look at it money is the root of all evil so therefore most humans are evil

((cant wait till jesus gets back))

Yes while i agree with this, most human beings are not as forward thinking as you an I and the rich and the corupt are deffnatly not.

But still 13 million... that could of bought so much medical supplies and teaching. I wonder where it goes when the cat dies.

Too be honest when I read the article this morning my stomach churned.

The Dying starving babies and a 13 million dollar feline sounds like it would make a great novel right.

I have pets and I also own some larger animals. I love them all and yes it costs a lot to maintain their habitat. But this is just another example of a long ass line of examples of how messed up our world has become.

Like it or not.

I've read stories about this almost every year of my life. By my estimates there are 1000's of super-rich pets. But please excuse me while I watch my fellow humans eat out of garbage cans. I’m sure you can understand why I’m not as delighted by the story.

Also I’ve seen it said before that an estimated 5-10% of homeless people have pets.

Not meaning this to be or feel like an attack op, but I felt I had to express my disdain for the story.

So I will close with another story so I don’t leave a sour taste in your mouth.

So much more could have been done with that money. It’s always the same old story humans or animals. We are both entangled into this modern global slavery.

Why do we pretend that we don’t live in a caste system?
