The arms are interlocked is in the shape of the block the action will occur in as not every block in Manhattan is a perfect square or rectangle.

There's more symbolism than just that, although that does hark back to some posters I saw in various places in the 20th century.

The hands - examine them. they are not only fists, they are not only interlocking, but they are adjustable wrenches. The thumbs are the adjusting jaws.

What really got my attention at first was the figure with the flag, in the center. That actually gave me a chill, with the recollections it brought back. By "chill", I mean it made my blood run cold.

At least they've gotten away from putting so much red in their posters. That would probably have made my head explode.

I want to thank you for reminding me of that page. Reading through it, all the catch phrases brought back a lot of old memories, and reinforced to me just how serious this can become. I've buried people because of those catch phrases. I had thought that assault on liberty was long dead, and I have found there that it is alive and well, and has merely morphed in it's presentation just enough to fool the "masses" that it formerly employed to do it's dirty work, so that it can continue to do so, and bring slavery to us all.

Well, YOU all. I won't live to see it happen.

I also found that OWS had not collapsed around here - it evidently just moved indoors for the winter. There was some sort of "solidarity" (there's another of those catch-phrases!) occupation for the assault on the longshoremen's paychecks at the west coast ports. I was unaware of it, since I don't watch the news, but when I found it there and brought it up to my roommate, she said "Oh yeah. Saw that on the news". I had no idea. I don't watch the news, and I don't deal with the sorts of places the occupiers are assaulting, so I knew nothing of it until I read that page you provided.

Thanks for that. I'll consider myself somewhat better informed now, and get to really digging in order to improve that. Looks like it might be an interesting year next year when spring breaks. I reckon I better have my perimeter in order by then.

Seriously! How much more "in your face" can they get? And still, people will refuse to see it. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I took my first breath fighting them, and it looks like I'll take my last breath doing the same.

Now do you see why they are targeting economic infrastructure rather than governmental? They have traditionally seized political power by first concentrating on economics. It has NEVER turned out well for the workers they use to seize that power, and claim to represent.

This may be a good place to look up that big post I made on OWS strategy, way back when, and bring it to the fore again. It's all lining up just as I called it.

So far, in every place it has taken root, that "kneejerk reaction" has led to trigger jerking reactions.

OWS will become a joke, as far as history is concerned, thanks to the multitude of characters involved.
Think about it, there was never really no real direction, plus it got out of control way too fast.

Don't get me wrong, I get the concept of anti Wall Street and all, but geez, one day they protest Wells Fargo and the next day they open a new account with the same institution.

It is/was so in your face.
It's one thing to say you are protesting and assembling but the Constitution doesn't say anything about taking over and occupying.
