The Simpsons Give Support For OWS and Anonymous in New Episode

I wasn't aware that Sailor Moon represents OWS.

OWS may have been a bit dodgy, but it got the homeless noticed. It also raised awareness. However, I've notice a lot of people go any way the wind blows. So, it was probably just a fad for many.

I hope the millennium generation figures out what to do with all this shared knowledge. The answer may be hard to follow through with, though. The rich elderly will control the young thugs, the police, for a while.

It's been said that Groening is a high level Mason, though I haven't confirmed that one myself. Harry Shearer has attended Bohemian Grove though I am not sure whether he was entertainment or invited guest. Not that I need an excuse, but I'm gonna watch the episode again critically and list as many ATS style references as I can.

I love the future episodes and can think of 3 more over the course of the years: Lisa's Wedding, Bart's future foretold at the Indian Casino, and Bart and Lisa finding the time viewer in Frink's basement. Of the 4, this recent one was definitely both the funniest and most jam packed with relevant references.

It makes me sad though that the national/global movement has been tainted.

But I still support my local group...I think they've done a great job here in Dallas, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the way it's been handled by the authorities...

Dallas eh? Well, next time you get around Occupy folk, please pass on a big Solidarity from Springfield, Mo. Dallas is one I've had on a side monitor many a night over the weeks while watching one of the larger 'show camps' on my primary. I've always thought of the Dallas folks as being among the 'good guys' in having a fairly decent and clean set up. Then again, it is Texas. No one laughs at the cops down there..or at least, laughter isn't heard the second time, right? lol...

I know this for certain.. I met some damn good people in my time in the camp and I still think pretty highly of several of them. I'd dearly love to see them and others like them come back in the spring fresh and reconstituted with purpose that keeps outsiders from inserting THEIR OWN purpose into the void. Our nation is so friggen close to going off the cliff..and I don't think we'll see peace and domestic order like we've all known it again in my lifetime, anyway. If Occupy can't make this work by refocusing..I don't think America has the time left to try again. This is/was it. For that reason... I'm as sad as you are in having turned from it in almost all ways.

I do not see any kind of OWS reference and considering they take 9 months to make each episode I am betting no one else does either.
