13 deaths and thousands of amputees, huh? What about WWII, where we were losing hundreds each day? Libs cry bloody murder each time a troop is killed
(They're actually celebrating, though.). Why? Because they want a negative atmosphere to surround Iraq.
Invading would bring about the apocalypse, but there were never any weapons. Iraq posed no threat, yet the war profoundly affected out national
security. It was all about oil, yet the fields are dry. The Kurds are dirt-poor, yet they were never gassed or abused. Iran is a bigger threat than
ever, but going after it is a bad idea. Syria might have WMDs, but they're not a threat. The war is wrong, yet we should pretend to be strong. We
should be hardliners, but we should be more sensitive too. We've had 1,000 casualties (a small price to pay compared to other U.S. wars), which is so
many that the U.S. is going to be depopulated. We're overcrowded, yet we have to act like every casualty is a nuclear strike. WMDs are bad, yet we
should never depose a regime which owns them or uses them. The war would have been right if Europe had been involved, even though we would have gone
to war for the same reasons. We should hand Iraq over to Europe, even though it opposed the war. There'll be another 9/11, yet we shouldn't do
anything about it (more stuff to blame Bush for). Clinton, in eight years wasn't in any way responsible for our terrorism defenses, yet Bush in eight
months destroyed NYC. 1,000 soldiers is too high a price to pay to save 3,000+ civilians. Bush is a moron, yet is surprisingly clever. You get the
idea.
