Unorthodox, unconventional - and in her own way... totally ingenious.

Kind of reminds me of one of my guitar playing influences, epic - RIP....

Very unique approach to shredding the ole' Ax!

However i believe she's able to do it because she using what sounds like Open E tuning, if you notice, when she's strumming and her left hand isn't touching the fret board it still sounds harmonious... that wouldn't be the case in standard EADGBE tuning.

If you were to tune guitar as such, you could probably do something unique and unorthidox like that without too much trouble

Very cool, nevertheless.

This woman reminds me of one of my favorite acoustic guitarists exploring new ways to play: Justin King.

He combines slap guitar with two handed tapping, and a lot of uncommon tunings as well..

Simply amazing. There are few guitarists that can really play the guitar. This is Lawson Rollings playing the Spanish Guitar.

Yes, I prefer an open E when playing the blues and of course a slide. It does sound like it. Kinda like in that movie with the kid prodigy playing the guitar the same way. August Rush.

Amazing movie BTW.

That was really nice. Good feelings abound on that video of those true musicians.
You won't see that on MTV or Entertainment tonight. Sad to say, but most folks these days
don't even know what music is.

Music by definition = Melody, Rythm, and Timbre.

Wonderful thread, perfect and joyous for this season. S&F
