I gave you a reason why society plays such an important goal. You respond by calling it "crap". I'm still waiting for a reason why. You need to back up your assertions.

Personal Responsibility = If someone is in the bad condition they are in, it’s because they are lazy, or stupid, or both – there is no need to even bother looking for socio-economic factors. I like simplistic explanations that I can use to bash the poor and disadvantaged while supporting cuts to vital services they need.

Sorry, once again, your success was not result of your work in isolation. There is the entire web of social relations which affect your success rate.

Success = I get to accumulate as much wealth as possible through destruction and exploitation. Then I get to fool myself into thinking that it was all my hard work and nothing else. I believe that the richest people actually “deserve” their wealth. Why? Because the divine "free" market deems it so!

As I said I'm not a progressive. The people you mentioned are bourgeois liberals; I would question how much of their wealth they actually 'earned' too.

The scariest thing I've ever held and actually got 2 people fired for doing so was the Presidential Nuclear Football, that damn thing is heavy, weighs about 50 lbs. Reason for the firings was that they allowed it to leave the secured zone as rules state it cannot travel no further then 50 ft of POTUS!

But my success is not from you, it stems from me, my ability to operate a business, which provides others jobs. Jobs they choose to work for monetary compensation.

A Member of the now infamous "Bought and Paid" Congress. He would've been the 2008 nominee but his inability to compromise on Social Security was an automatic non starter hence why McCain and the airhead got the nod. If Paul were to compromise on SS today by not going after it then he will be the nominee but since he continues to remain defiant on that makes that a non starter!
