The current bastardization of it now??? Hell no.

That is because a whole bunch of people bought into a whole bunch of crap based on some free market fantasy, and voted in representatives that turned control of the fed gov over to the corporations.

Thanks for proving my point, the republicans with their free market ideology are trying to destroy everything the U.S. stands for. Why do you support them in this effort. Who convinced you that you must be a slave?

WOW!!!!

If I had to choose a master, you know, gun to the head.
I choose corporations.

You really think one would be better than the other?

Seems to me someone convinced you long ago that you had to make that choice, and your current rationalization of allowing corporations to take control of the U.S., is based on that decision from long ago.

In a lesser of 2 evils, and a gun to my head? Yes.

Do I want to be controlled by either? No.

You know, for a person that quotes the absolute thing about the Sith, you sure don't listen to statement and think in your absolute.

I stated already I don't want to be controlled by either.

Twisting words I see!

Deny corporations the same liberties and rights that the people currently enjoy is what I am advocating and to spin it any other way proves without a shadow of doubt you are in fact a paid shill.

Keep on trying to challenge me and you will be reported! Try me!

Um, no.
The idea of mixing the original intent with Marxism, Communism and Socialism is what brought us here.
The fact that the Govt can't even balance it's own finances is what has brought us here.
The fact that Govt continues to take more liberties and freedoms is what has brought us here.

Unless you have my W2 showing my employment with Haliburton or so on, PLEASE, go back to playing with your toy cars.

Reported? Ok then.
Not the one calling names.

So, so in life, as in ATS.
Life.
Challenged in life to provide for yourself, can't and look to the Govt to save you.
ATS
Challenged on ATS, don't like it and need the Mods as your fall back, to save you.

You just stepped right into my trap.

Haliburton, serious? Shill identified! That's who's ordering you to be here. Ahh, it all makes sense now!!

Tell Haliburton that I said to foul off!

To give corporations rights means the following :
Forget family.
Forget individual freedoms.
Forget God.
Forget the Bill of Rights.
Forget small businesses.
Forget individual property ownership.
Forget health and long life.
Forget individual choice.
Forget freedom of movement and travel.
Forget freedom of job choice.
Forget the freedom to plant a garden or raise your own food.
Forget the freedom to even pay for your own old age health care--the only thing oldsters can count on is the 'freedom to be euthenized at a convenient-to-the-Marxist-socialist-state time.'
Forget representative government (that's been a joke for decades).
Forget media truth (that's been a super joke for at least 60 years).
Forget having a life unless you are 'fortunate' enough to be a suitible cog in a suitable part of the massive globalist machine for a little while . . . unless and until you become another useless eater allowed a very temporary existence of any kind.
Forget everything but slavery to and worship of the globalist oligarchy, the tyrannical global machine

Still wish to give corporations rights?

Again, you are not understanding what I am saying.

Gun to my head, I don't see any difference between being a slave to a corporation or to government.

That you think being a slave to a corporation is preferable is very revealing.

Yes.
I don't not see what the Govt is doing as correct.
I see more Corporations doing more good then the Govt as a whole.
If you don't, then I think the jading effect has taken its toll on you.
I know many of Corporations that not only treat their people and business fairly, but treat them as family as well.

+70 million Baby Boomers needing Social Security, Medicare, plus their State Retirements, Federal Employee Retirements, Military Retirements, Veterans Affairs Disability........

The Baby Boomer Generation needing alllll that money is why everything is the way it is.

If you forced Congress to pass a Bill saying they are only entitled to ONE of those incomes.....there would be Federal/State Appropriations available to hire people again. America would BOOM.

Best of luck trying to get that Bill passed.

It is the repubs who worked diligently to allow people from other countries to buy up our country with their phony baloney money.

And what are the odds that the guy is Russian mafia?

Newt was also a big part of this effort.

Govt was able to manage it's finances but the fleecing of America that's been ongoing since the 1980's has cost us most everything that made this place great. Tax breaks for the rich, outsourcing, lack of new revenue streams will hinder Govt's ability to keep its financial house in order. Now if we didn't have that to worry about and were still in the same predicament then it'd be a problem but since there is no new revenue being allowed means it's being externally extracted and stagnated.

Watch this and learn what reality is :

Oh come on.
Now I know that you held your nose typing that.
Both sides have been selling out the country for a while now.

Yeah, the demos have had their hand in this as well, but the repubs have been the ones pushing the most to allow this, and Gingrich was involved in a scandal that allowed Murdoch to buy up our media, and others from the Middle East big oil money.

Do some research.

It is republicans blocking the nomination of a department to protect consumers, not the democrats.

That is just another line of BS to continue to pull in the rubes.

While the democrats have their problems, the republicans in this era, are completely and wholly owned by the bankers.

Wait, Republicans want to stop another bloated, wasteful, and fraudulent bureaucracy? Democrats want this because why? Oh yeah, Democrats think people are too stupid to make decisions on their own.

I have. That is why I know that it is both sides doing it.
Hence the reason that All Govt, Dem or Rep can't be trusted.

The old adage comes to mind, "Want to become a millionaire?Go be a Senator or Congressman".
