Ted Kennedy, right out of JFKs play book.

Mostly, they didn't want Hillary in the White House.

I have never pretended its just the republicans, only that at this time, they are the far more dangerous party.

Did you read the op?

I will l say this more about Obama. I think his dreams got smashed when reality hit, and now he is becoming a realist.

What could possibly be more dangerous to this country than a Soros rewriting of the Constitution to the International Socialist Communist Manifesto?

Ok I'll buy that Kennedy had that kind of influence over party politics. One wonders what Kennedy had against Hillary. I've never been a Democrat so I wouldn't know. Obama and Hillary are both Marxists so I don't really see what the difference would be other than Obama had the minority vote on a silver platter.

the "no namers" don't represent me.

Yepper, it would be nice to find one that did. There is a whole large group in the middle looking for the right person saying the right thing.

I've been watching this thread for the past couple days.
And one thing that stands out (in my mind) was in the opening post.

They don't want the government to do its job of protecting out liberties.

The government doesn't protect our liberties.

We do.

The government takes away our liberties.

To ask government to protect our liberties is like asking Charlie Sheen to protect the liquor cabinet!

It is the progressive "meme" to influence how people think and whom to rely on. Their view is to rely on government.

When relying on yourself to protect your liberties is the far more sensible answer.

Several groups have several candidates they are always grooming, all vying to get their kid into the WH.

Obama was not from the group that GW is from, but from one of the opposition groups.

You need to wake up to the reality that there are power struggles at the upper echelon.

The purpose of the U.S. government, as stated in the, D of I, which is part of the U.S. Constitution, is to protect our liberties.

That is clearly stated and posted in my op. The fed gov doesn't always succeed in doing this, but often they do, sometimes better than others. It is up to the people to retain control of the fed gov to keep it in line.

Right now we have our work cut out for us.

They are supposed to protect our liberties from outside sources.

Who protects us from the "protectors"?

We do. They even put the 2nd ammendment in there for that reason. Right now, I wouldn't trust a GOP, DNC, Indy, Flying Purple Spagetti Monster to protect me from intrusive government.

If the GOP wants smaller, less intrusive government, then great. Let them prove it.

But having a bigger government is going to do nothing but create an environment where we have less liberties and freedoms.

It is the SCUM who is doing so but in reality it is ultimately up to us to fall in line and as evidenced recently we are refusing to.

Oh yah, I'll buy that too. Obama and Hillary both Marxists but both vied for the Presidency and both had Universal healthcare as their premium agenda.

Ike was the first to conceive of Universal Healthcare with framework laid out by FDR and the recent law was the culmination of that very plan!

Obama's a puppet and Hillary is a power hungry media prostitute!

There is absolutely no evidence confirming him as a Marxist so do not deflect please!

I haven't read through the thread, but I was attracted by it's title and read the opening post. For some reason it made me think of those experiments where very earnest graduate students in biology carefully swab the erect sexual apparatus of a mosquito with a pheremone that makes it irrisistable to lady mosquitos, who only want to have its children and refuse to copulate with any other mosquito. The only problem is that the sexual apparatus in question is a dud and leads to mosquito colony collapse disorder, rampant sexual irregularity and the eventual disappearance of the species.

That's how I usually think of the Republican Party and I just wanted to share.

Normally I would inveigh against such a terminal dead ender's approach to capitalism as those freeze dried nitwits espouse, and suggest sane alternatives to help my friends south of the border get back on track to "happy capitalism", as a local comentator in Toronto puts it, but I'm not going to this time.

"Why?", you don't ask. Well, I'll tell you.

Last night I watched a documentary about the savage violence the United States inflicted upon the people of Panama City during their arrest of Manuel Noriega, when George H.W. Bush was president, and to be perfectly frank with y'all, I'm p.o'd. So have fun down there, going to hell in a handbasket.

Help, save us from the big bad "Marxists" who want to give everyone.... healthcare! The inhumanity of it all!

So if Hillary is a Marxist, why didn't her husband create Russia nearly 20 years ago???

You KEEP ignoring my request, like 20 times now... Where is the communism and the Marxist
take over?

Obama's term is almost up, where is it?

BTW... I know this is hard for you to understand not caring about the help and all, but some people
think that seeing a doctor is a vital part of modern society. Almost all of the people I know feel
this way, many own private business's, capitalist ventures, just an FYI.

The disgusting nature of doctors, medicine and the evil agenda of providing both to people.
How sick and evil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just busted a vein thinking about it.

To the Republicans Marxism is something that only they are entitled to. I'm talking about the bailout money here. When Warren Buffet puts money into a company, he gets equity and a vote at shareholder's meetings and sometimes a seat on the board.

That's capitalism.

When the Republicans whine and cry for a multi-trillion dollar bailout like some miserable drifter scum on the street corner, they want it for free. They don't want to give anyone equity or a say in how the business is run. They admit to being abject sniveling beggars who want a free ride through their troubles, but they want it on Marxist terms . . . for free!!!

No equity surrendered. No takoever at the board level. No infection of common effing sense allowed.

America you're losing it.

We are not losing it, we have lost it... We need to split this place in half already

They can bomb Arabistan, force toddlers to work in coal mines and pay people $.32 cents an hour
for all I care. I so wish the civil war would have just ended in a split, their confederacy would consist of
two corporations, three Trillionaires and 100 million shanty huts...They would drool for several years, wonder what happened and blame it on the socialists!!!

Colony collapse disorder.

Watching this whole process from a distance is a bizarre thing. America has a frightening lack of perspective on itself. It reminds me of Jim Carrey's hilarious sendup of his own performance of the character "Johnny Squares" from the Clint Eastwood movie Deadpool.

You have to wait a couple of minutes for it in this clip, but it's fun waiting. The important line is "I can handle it!"
