Took the plunge...

I have been an avid lurker on ATS for years now and have truly enjoyed gaining insight from the many different perspectives here. I have had many personal opinions reinforced and a few debunked with solid research. I truly value the variance in opinions and feel that this dialogue is what separates us from the many sheep who are so willing to blindly believe the first thing they hear. While there are many who blindly follow the media, there are also many who jump on the conspiracy bandwagon without a shred of evidence.

What I have found at ATS are a group of intelligent individuals (for the most part) who put a lot of time, effort and research into their opinions and that is what makes this site stand out from the rest.

I have decided to finally throw my hat in and join as a member because the current economical and political climate, well..., honestly has me concerned to say the least.

I have gained a lot from the posters here and hope to add value to ATS with my own research and opinions on a variety of topics. I look forward to many more debates that I am finally a part of...
