Last year in august they came out with FM 3-28 Civil Support Operations (Nice little name there). It is basically an update/revamp of the old FM 100-19 Domestic Support Operations.

5-15. Support to civil law enforcement agencies usually falls under four general mission areas. Military

terrorism. Military forces may provide direct and indirect support during civil disturbance operations.
Another category is critical infrastructure protection and is addressed in chapter 6. The military force with
primary responsibility for direct law enforcement support (for example, involving face-to-face contact with
offenders) is the National Guard, under state command and control.

I am an Army Recruiter. This MOS has been around for a long time. I find it very amusing that it is now just being brought forth to the community now. There are so many other noteworthy subjects than the existence of a prison gaurd MOS when it comes to military subject matter. This is being done to further stoke the already burning fires over the recent NDAA issue. Of course there is a detention MOS. Yes there are camps being built. Right now the state of recruiting is at a recent high. For new enlistees and recruits the selection of MOSs available has been very slim. Mostly infantry and artillery have been the big must fill positions. Howevery as an interesting note I did notice that there was a whopping 10 positions for 31E the same day Alex Jones broke the KBR information. Not enough to staff even a single cell block in my opinion, but interesting none the less.
My point is that this story has a disingenuous feel to it for the purposes of fearmongering. It is almost like watching someone make a pizza and then acting suprised when they put cheese on it. The Army has always had a prison gaurd MOS. To get excited over this would be like saying "The Army has this MOS 92G Cook so they can feed the soldiers when they impose martial law". Or "The army has this new MOS 88M Motor Transportation Operator so they can truck everybody off to the FEMA camp."
But I know that it is the nature of our community to get worked up.

I know there have always been brig guards. In the Marine Corps I believe they are MP's though; I don't recall it being a separate MOS but I could be wrong. The part that threw me off was the title: Internment/Resettlement Specialist

Resettlement?? Doesn't sound very much like something for prisoners of war. Sounds more like something for detained civilians. I could be reading too much into it though. 

I will defer to your expertise as a recruiter on this subject (though you may be a disinformation agent).

It's an Onion News video. They make all kinds of spoofs/gag stories.

I personally feel it was put out so that if people saw real c-span coverage of something major being talked about, they'd associate it with fake/spoof/nothing to care about. Just like how people who rely solely on mainstream media associate anyone who talks about government conspiracies with little green men and tinfoil hats...

Here's what I think is the "real" version of that video.

Oliver North is being questioned about continuity of government/martial law/suspension of the constitution, and chairman Daniel Inouye interrupts the questioning because it's material the public isn't supposed to hear

I mean these camps have been around for 30 years, at least that is when I had people first telling me I was about to be put in one. At least back then the world had much larger militaries although not nearly large enough. In the US we can not even fund, man and run the prisons we already have leading the release of criminals on a regular bases. Just how do you imagine we could lock up everybody? What I wonder, why get rid of the "useless eaters" among americans first? Ah yes you have me. I am payed to come to a forum about UFOs, alien wars, bigfoot, ghosts, demons, the NWO, death rays, mystery planets, alien bases, to spread disinformation to convince the 4 people who think FEMA is building camps to put everyone in them with no way to hold them, feed them, detain them or even any reason to keep them at all.
