Judge a book by its cover, you couldn't be any more prejudiced.
Obama is a socialist, he wants everyone to be "equal" like the borg. How is that even remotely arguable? I get positive comments through U2U all the time.
Cheers.
Erm, was actually talking about the OP you responded to in that particular post. Even his avatar was a troll. Wasnt talking about Obama at all.

If you raise minimum wage, the company has to bear the burden of that cost. They surely are not going to pass that burden onto their shareholders or ceo, so where does it go? It is applied to their product, thereby driving up prices for the consumer whose minimum wage raise has now been made void by..well, their minimum wage raise.

Text Ha, I tried telling these morons that before, but it is just too far over their heads.

Oh, I was so busy defending myself from imbeciles who know nothing about business or economics, but pretend they do by repeating phrases they heard on TV like "evil corporations" that I missed that. Apologies.

Consumer rights will ensure the costs are not passed on to the consumer moron.

Text I just raised prices at my business. I didn't get any memo from any agency or consumer rights office anywhere. Do you know what dictated my price increase?

Not sure if it was posted yet, since there are so many useless comments not attempting to answer the question at all...but, our minimum wage is tied directly into the bargaining agreements with Unions. So if the minimum wage goes up, so does all the wages for anyone in a union....which is over half or more of the work force in America.
And you can thank Liberal Democrats and their union ties for that. Keeping the poor as a slave voting class.
In 2010, total labor union density (the percentage of workers—both public and private—belonging to a labor union) was 11.4% in the United States. For comparison, it was 18.6% in Germany, 27.5% in Canada, and 70% in Finland.[1] Union membership in the private sector has in recent years fallen under 9% — levels not seen since 1932. Unions allege that employer-incited opposition has contributed to this decline in membership.

It would only apply to those corporations that had a market share that was the equivalent to a monopoly. In addition to ensuring fair profit margins from these corpoations we should make steps to reduce and limit the market share of monopolies like Walmart.
I assume you dont own a corporation so it would not affect you unless you are a shareholder.

Text Also, can you define monopoly and how Walmart is one?
