See the real trouble with America is guys like you. You are a traitor.

With a demonic lack of empathy.

You are not very evolved at all are you?

When you say "not very evolved", you mean to say "Grew up poor and then worked two sh!77y jobs while going to college full time, paying my own way and driving a piece of crap car, graduating with honors, then working full time for the past 25 years to make ends meet"? Then yeah, I guess I'm "not very evolved".

See buddy, I WAS the starving puke who couldn't live on minimum wage. I lived it. However, unlike socialist-minded indoctrinated robots like you, I did not bitch and moan about not getting "my fair share" thinking I could just kick back and watch my big screen while the "government" takes care of all my needs like I'm some kind of helpless little baby.

I am not helpless. I make my own way and I have worked hard for it. I am a traitor? I lose more patriotism when I fart than you have in your entire body.

You really think you are so superior?

Who said anything about sticking it to the poor or middle classed? Raising minimum wage won't help the poor and only hurts the middle class.

And just to be clear, I have a G.E.D. and health issues that prevent me from looking for work abroad. If you want to make more money, make yourself more valuable. Work harder or get a better education. The work place is competitive, go compete!

Entrepreneurs have an extremely hard time these days trying to get off of the ground due to all of this regulation.

And what really sucks is, if I want to take a job for less than minimum wage for training purposes or a chance to progress in a company for the long term, I can't, it's illegal.

So you need a salary cap and you need to raise corporate tax.
You need to tax the rich.

You can work as hard as you want but there are not enough jobs.Look at your unemployment figures. It might sound clever to say work hard and get an education but it isnt that simple.

Some of the candidates in the GOP want to get rid of the minimum wage as well! And they blame unions for the fact that minimum wage is as "high" as it is!
If they brought back all the manufacturing jobs we lost from NAFTA and set up a wage people could actually live on we could pull ourselves out of the financial mess we're in. Government Sachs is too busy paying for illegal wars and fraudulent contracts to Haliburton to even pull their heads out of each others ass to see it though. Then they blame people on welfare for destroying the economy......i need cheap tickets out of this future 3rd world corporation please help!

You got that from my post? Wow.

These are the people who believe what the teevee tells them, folks.

Yeah,I got that from the post. You are insulting those out of work, those on welfare, those on minimum wage., the working poor and the middle class.
Your simplistic views are insulting and telling.

And you are confusing a crappy economy with minimum wages.

You think jacking up wages will solve anything? Did you even read my post? Do you even understand how business works? How the economy works?

It seems all I am hearing here is "corporate greed" "banksters" Corporations need to lower housing prices.

I swear you are all retarded. Welcome to America, land of the stupid.

By the way, I have been unemployed for TWO years and have applied for food stamps out of necessity, so SHUT IT about who I am "insulting". Do you hear me complaining?

Obama is the cause of this economy. He could have turned it around by now, but did he? He's had plenty of time. Bailout after bailout to his wall street buddies and otherwise doing NOTHING. How about you start directing some of that aggression toward the other people who are to blame.

For a single person, basic needed living exspenses: Necessities only.

Average rent: $850. a month.

Gas car to go to work, average 25 miles to work.To fill my tank is $35. and i go thru 2 fills a week.=$70.
Insurance car: $50. a month.
Food: $200. a month.
TOTALS: $1,545. A MONTH. Lets see if the guy making $9 an hour can make it, YOU DECIDE.

$14hr. YES, BARELY, NOT RECOMMENDED
$15hr. YES
$16hr. YES
I feel sorry for those that have children. This only makes things worse.
Most places around here hire you thru temp. services, because buisnesses do not want to pay for health insurance on a newbie. Most temp. services around here start you at $9 dollars an hour. More often what happens they don't hire you after your 90 day trial period and you end up quitting or they say that they don't need you anymore. This practice has been going on since the 80's. If you say something about this they get rid of you and say there is no more work to be done and then they go and hire a new temp and start the process all over again. THIS IS THE NEW FACIST ECONOMY WE HAVE HERE.
Most people get one or two roomates, because they cannot afford to live in the apartments. Rent usually goes up from $850 a month for a one bedroom to a two bedroom apartment.
THE BANKS did not take a cut for our recession. That is why the rent on apartments did not go down at all, it only went UP.
The way around here is, it is helpful to have a two or more person system with helping the bills. Laws here say that you can have only 1 person per bedroom under the age of 12. Remember, the more bedrooms the more exspensive it is to pay.

BIG CORPORATE BANKSTERS. IF these people lowered housing. WE THE PEOPLE would have more money in our pockets to spend, THUS BUISNESS WILL THRIVE. WE ARE GETTING chopped off at the knees here. I am not putting down buisnesses. IN FACT, i'm showing how we are getting ELIMINATED. Tell the big corporate banksters to cut housing costs in HALF. So instead of a $850 a month rent , it would be 425. This would give people more money to spend somewhere else and buisness will THRIVE. OK.

According to the poster on the wall at my job...yes.
I make a hefty 7.50/hr, working 9 hours mon-sat, sometimes 10-11 hrs.
And no, I can't live off of this, a paycheck goes in 3 days...
but that's what side jobs are for. An extra 700-800 a month doing geetar lessons helps.

Basically, making minimum wage, you have to scratch and claw to make ends meet.

Raise taxes? How are business owners supposed to pay more money in taxes and a higher minimum wage? You do realize jobs come from business owners...?

I agree that Wallstreet is all jacked up, but, you can't forget that small business owners are the heart of the workforce. Taxing them and forcing them to pay more wages only destroys small business. What happens when small business is destroyed? Giant corporations take over, then you get more regulation because people scream about them buying up and killing the small Ma and Pa businesses. The answer is less regulation. Let people do what they want and work for what they want.

You would never low ball the Doctor that was going to remove your cancer.
