You are right on this one and the only thing we can hope for is that there are a large group at ready now to defend our people when the orders ring out, it will not come without many lives lost on both sides.

I would give each and every one of then N.G. a medal of valuer a pat on the back then file charges on the CO's for this is what is to come, the problem is How many CO's out there have the never the gall and the B@!!s to use deadly force on the ones they are sworn to protect ,... from all foreign and domestic.
When the Gov says or starts making laws that say you fall in to this "Hostile or Belligerent" just by words or non violent actions, then who is the "foreign and domestic" ? If you think i am reading to much into this, ask your self this, will they have lawyers on the streets asking you what is your act and intention of demonstrating, protesting and or assembling in mass.
For what I see coming (and I do Hope and Pray that I am 100% wrong) is the new civil war Us a against they GOV, and that we should wipe the dust of the books of old and renew what once was

Enlisted: The first oath, voted on 14 June 1775 as part of the act creating the Continental Army, read: "I _____ have, this day, voluntarily enlisted myself, as a soldier, in the American continental army, for one year, unless sooner discharged: And I do bind myself to conform, in all instances, to such rules and regulations, as are, or shall be, established for the government of the said Army." The original wording was effectively replaced by Section 3, Article 1, of the Articles of War approved by Congress on 20 September 1776, which specified that the oath of enlistment read: "I _____ swear (or affirm as the case may be) to be trued to the United States of America, and to serve them honestly and faithfully against all their enemies opposers whatsoever; and to observe and obey the orders of the Continental Congress, and the orders of the Generals and officers set over me by them."
For it is We the People BY the People Of the People of the USA they serve not them nor their closed door, "We the People do not approved of" amendments.

What is terrifying is that there is a questionaire on this in the first place!!!!!!

My sentiment precisely.

Serve and protect..?

If there was an insurrection, they'd lose anyway, too many guns.

The vast majority of military personnel will NOT fire on U.S. citizens. You people really need to quit worrying about U.S. military personnel doing this. It will be Obama's buddies at the U.N. that will start the killing of Americans. The majority of military, military veterans, and law enforcement will NOT let that happen without a fight. We are well armed, and we won't let the blue helmets walk around without fearing for their own lives. Guerrilla tactics in the U.S. will be very bloody for any invading forces.

I figured that most US troops wouldnt shoot at the civies. Its the blue helmets that we have to be aiming at when the SHTF folks. at least UN troops make easy blue targets to acquire
never understood blue camo

I just heard from Devon. He was TX’d by his Plt LDR and advised that the Specialist Who first layed down his weapon is being held in county jail by the Bn CMDR, awaiting a hearing under the UCMJ.

Seriously, those bastards need to face a court martial for punishing the specialist who did the right thing!

just because the guy refused to fill out a questionaire, and layed his weapon down? wow, what kind of BS is that, they cant jail him just for that can they? I wouldve punched my CO out before they got cuffs on me. at least go to jail for something worthy.

Now that is the answer i have been waiting to hear. There is not use just talking, you need to get prepared. Solar products, MRE, water and weapons if it comes to that. Lets hope it never does though.

I will defer comment on this if only because the matter is now being described as an "in-house affair." Beyond that I was not the least bit surprised to read that junior enlisted and NCOs refused to entertain a [presumably] hypothetical situation that might be best described as homegrown sadomasochism.

This has odd timing. I mean, feels like a hoax. Do we have a copy of this questionaire? I dont get why they need a questionaire. To me the questionaire is the order you give. Im not gonna say its a fake story, but it certainly "feels" too movie like.. We rarely have heros.. So a whole platoon?

the gov is looking for statistics, numbers, data, who will kill one of their own, and who will not. guarantee that those who stated they would not have been put on a special list something like this www.reuters.com...

Yes, during the 1967 Detroit riots they outsourced the National Guardsmen from Michigan. The result were 43 dead, 467 injured, over 7,200 arrests, and more than 2,000 buildings destroyed (wikipedia)

This is how they will deal with things... Outsource troops from elsewhere who might not otherwise have an emotional attachment to said targets.

National Guardsmen from one state will not deal with their own, they will be sent elsewhere while other units move in their neighborhood.

Where is this unit located? What state? My husband is in the guard and he has not seen or heard anything about this from anyone in his unit. Not trying to discredit the thread but trying to pinpoint the source by at least a state. Also what branch of service is the guard unit? Maybe this is an army thing as my husband is air force? Please provide more details.

Group mentality. One person lays his gun down and says "hell no" and everyone follows suit.

Flash forward and all hells breaking loose in the US and the guard is deployed. One person shoots first, they all follow suit. Might feel bad a few years down the road, but they'd still shoot first, question later.

Oath Keepers Receive Tip of National Guard Unit Stand-Down, Refusing to Answer Questionnaire Asking if They Would Use Lethal Force Against the American People

OUTSTANDING!! I just left my neighbors house. Devon is with the National Guard for this area. He just got home from a EDRE (emergency deployment readiness exercise) at the armory. He said that during the exercise 3 companies of infantry were polled by questionare about the drill and it’s purpose. One of the questions was, will you as a member of the Nat. Guard use lethal force against the American public if ordered to do so? One of the men stepped forward and refused to take the poll and explained that it was a moral judgement on his part and that he could not do so. He then placed his weapon on the ground and fell in behind the formation. Devon said it was like a waterfall, Every member layed their weapons on the deck and fell in beside the one lone specialist. This included ALL NCO’s, STAFF NCO’s and SENIOR NCO’s. The only people left in front of the original formation was 3 Capt’s. 2 Lt’s and the BN Commander who was so upset he started having chest pains from yelling and screaming about court martials and disbandment of the unit into other units.

Epic. Every soldier in the US army needs to do this and tell the fascist gov to stick their illegal orders where they belong.

EDIT : WTF is all I can say!

I just heard from Devon. He was TX’d by his Plt LDR and advised that the Specialist Who first layed down his weapon is being held in county jail by the Bn CMDR, awaiting a hearing under the UCMJ.

Still believe the government wants to be friends with you? The guy shouldn't be in jail, he should be given a medal.

I don't know... the whole story about laying the gun down and the slow progression of everyone else following suit sounds a little too--cheesy movie script to me. Doesn't sound like a real situation to me. Why would they do that instead of just answer "no" on the questionnaire?

The NG is the legacy of the organized state militias. NG units are made up of members of the community in which they serve. They are our modern day citizen soldiers, the "minute men" of our time. I can't speak for every state, but our Guard units here in Louisiana save our butts time and again (We're probably the state most prone to natural disasters). These guys are highly trained professionals. If put in a position where they may be asked to fire upon American citizens, you can bet that most of them will make the right choice. They are trained to follow very specific rules for the use of force, which are different from "rules of engagement" when dealing with an overseas enemy. The current nature and SOP of the Guard is that units within and surrounding the endangered community are activated. In other words, they are serving in the community in which they live or a neighboring community.

Edit to add: I know some of you may think I'm a disinfo agent or something after gushing about the Guard, but remember I'm from Louisiana. We have a lot of experience with the Guard. Esp. after the last 10 years.

You are dreaming if you think troops won't fire on their own people. They are fully brainwashed, all they have to do is send them to another state and tell them these people are somehow "terrorists" and let em loose. They've proven it many times, here and in every other country.

Ask people in LA, Detroit, New Orleans, or even Kent State if they will shoot at Americans.

This story is probably bunk, anyway. Oath Keepers is a faked up "controlled opposition" organization. This is just the type of psy-ops they were created for.

Watch your six.

Find me any factual instance of a guardsmen firing on a citizen in New Orleans. Guarantee you can't, sir.

Law Enforcement will be more than willing to fire on civilians. Private Contractors will also do so if compensated well. Foreign troops will also do the same as the USA is occupied under the guise of peace keeping from unrest in order to preserve the world economic condition.

You're absolutely correct. Unless a National Guardsman is on Title 10 federal orders, the UCMJ does not apply. The commander has no authority to order a soldier to be imprisoned, especially by a civilian authority such as a sheriff. This story is completely false.

You can change the world.
You are much more than you think.

I guess were not supposed to remember this famous quote.

Lt. Gen. HONORE: "Put those damn weapons down. I'm not going to tell you again, goddamn it. Get those goddamn weapons down."

He had to order them more than one time.
