So who is an extremist? The OWS, or the Tea Party? Or the dissipating threat of overseas religious extremists? What is worse the hated 'Patriot Act' or a deeper integration of intelligence and domestic psychological operations?

It's not enough that TSA treats us all as terrorists. Now they're spreading heavy-handed law enforcement to your neighborhoods.

The plan is:

"Strategic Implementation Plan for Empowering Local Partners to Prevent Violent Extremism in the United States"
www.whitehouse.gov...

They use the worst case examples to support their desires to:
  • Reeducate communities with meetings, leaflets, letters, and post notices on websites
  • Develop network of informers and pro government supporters
  • Deploy intelligence assets against communities to identify dissidents
  • Closely monitor and turn local law enforcement into intelligence assets

They threw in a few unrelated crime categories and phrases to distract from the militarization of a once free nation.

The new national symbol is slowly becoming an iron fist.

Speak up, protest big government, and a dozen eyes will be monitoring your next move.

From that .pdf I quickly saw the following:

" The best defenses against violent extremist ideologies are well-informed and equipped
families, local communities, and local institutions."

So an idea or way of thinking needs to have people, communities, and institutions equipped to defend against it?

    300:1

What a pathetic nation we have become. Thought crime.

    Right agaIn.
More and more families and communities are "well informed" and getting "Equipped" to defend against
violent extremist ideologies such as the one our government has adopted.

and you all thought sec 1031 1032 of the S 1867 bill and the House Bill HR 1540 did not apply to you it seems it does not need passing after all.

All I can say is Gestapo!

Yes, it happened in Nazi Germany, and it is happening here. There are way too many parallels between them and us now. History is repeating itself as we speak, and our citizens are blind to it. They are drinking the kool aide, and it is slowly killing them. All I can say is I am glad I am aware, because when it hits full force I will be prepared.

I get a laugh out of all of these people who want a "revolution". The funny thing is that if they get one, it might not turn out the way they think it will. The White House is just laying the groundwork to control people for the upcoming election. Anybody who is anti-Obama will be labeled as a threat.

Leaflets? Reeducation? Sounds like psychological warfare. Waged by a government on the people it controls, err represents. So now I know what to do, I have a loaded printer and I'm not afraid to use it.
I am going to spread threatening ideas like "freedom" and "self reliance".

Somebody report me to the authorities please.

I find it interesting that the .pdf file is named 'empowering-local-partners' This only means those who are 'partners' in the government... The corporate sector.

Dont worry. Americans are already reeducating themselves. But US government agents are welcome in ATS. Perhaps here they can be"reeducated"

    Afraid of a revolution?
Maybe they should take a look at what they are doing that is causing us to feel this way.
If they would stop pinching us with ever increasing restrictive legislatation we wouldn't bother with any of this.
The more they tighten the screws the madder we get.
Why can't they just leave us alone?

They should look back about 60 or 70 years and notice that we didn't do make such complaints about them.
