So what if Alex Jones made a time-frame prediction which may gave been wrong? You provided no link, But assuming there's a basis for your assertion, so what? What's your point? The Jose Padillia case resolved the issue you are referring to. He is a US citizen and was classified by President Bush as an enemy combatant. It took about 2-3 years for the case to get to the US Supreme Court, who ruled he has every protection any other US citizen does, they cannot be taken away by classifying them an enemy combatant.

If they could do that then the guy arrested for supposedly being involved in the plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the US would never see the inside of a civilian court room, which is where his case is ongoing.

The Military Commission Act of 2006 was the initial attempt to be able to classify in that manner, and it was a non starter with the Supreme Court. Subsequently the MCA of 2008 and 2009 reinforced that decision by changing the acts around to comply with the Supreme Court ruling.

The only way a citizen who was born in the US can lose their citizenship is if its voluntary, in writing or verbal declaration to certain officials, or by engaging US forces in combat / being part of a foreign military engaged in combat with the US, being part of a foreign government.

Aside from that if you moved to the US, became a US citizen, and something in your past shows up, like being a nazi war criminal, then the government can revoke a persons citizenship.

The broohaha people are creating over this mess is due to a lack of knowledge / understanding of the big picture, namely law / case law, Posse Commatatus, (does not apply to State Guard units), Supreme Court rulings, the UCMJ, MCA 2006/08/09, Hamdi vs. Rumsfeld, Hamden vs. Rumsfeld etc etc etc etc.

Its the same reason people constantly state there are FEMA camps when there aren't any. FEMA was completely reorganized after Katrina, and lessons learned from that fiasco have been at the forefront of their reshuffle, including the prohibition of FEMA being deployed to a state unless requested by the Govenor and approved by the President.

FEMA is an umbrella organization, representing and coordinating over 22 federal agencies when they are requested by and approved to deploy. They are the interface the States use to relay the needs / requests to appropriate departments and to then move those requests back into the affected areas.

Example -
Joplin MO tornado - damage / situation exceeded the City's emergency management capabilities. They put together a shopping list of needed supplies and forwards it to the State Government. The state works to get those needed items, and turns to FEMA with a list of items they aren't able to get enough of / have on hand.
FEMA is activated and fills shopping list and delivers items.

The "FEMA" camp confusion again stems from Katrina. The concept is to break the nation into zones, designating certain military bases as hubs for lack of a better word. If a Katrina style event occurs, those designated bases can be used to house displaced people, allow for school to continue on uninterrupted while allowing essential resources (food / water / shelter) to be concentrated into one area instead of over a massive disaster zone.

The reason for military bases is because of their infrastructure. The bases are already designed to withstand higher levels of devastation. They usually have their own contained water / energy / communications resources etc. No one is locked in nor are they loaded into trains and shipped to concentration camps as some suggest.

People bitched about Katrina and the governments inability to get it right, from the local county state level all the way to the federal level.

Now, the governments are being responsive to the peoples concerns, and people complain about that.

Knowledge is power. People must be involved and be familiar with this stuff for 2 important reasons.
- To understand the concept and to see it as it is, assistance in times of mass disaster.
- As well as keeping an eye on the governments and their actions during those times.

Im all for questioning the government, but the only way to do that is to know what its all about (laws / FEMA / etc.)

Having been here for a while now, I've seen the FEMA "they're going to kill us all!" BS over and over again. It HAS been debunked repeatedly. Here are some of the highlights...

The one video that started all of this was created by a neo-Nazi lunatic. She is widely known to be an extremist, producing anti-government propaganda. She was thrown out of her local Militia for her insane rants and extremist views.

The FEMA camps are part of a national infrastructure for Emergency Management (yeah, get that, the clue is in the title!) They are placed around the USA on unused land to enable supplies to be brought in and people to be evacuated where needed. This is all found in the documentation associated with their creation.

It was established that all the coffins filmed previously on unused land were put there by the manufacturing company who had leased the land for storage. They were not owned by any state or government and FEMA had no ties to it at all.

The so-called "prison cars" with "shackles" (lol) were debunked and found to be the same vehicle transport cars used all over the USA. There was nothing unusual or different about them.

Once again, we'll have a thread of the crazies bringing up all the usual Alex Jones lunacy, and then it'll die off slowly when nothing happens. Just as it's died off the hundred other times Alex Jones has declared that there's Martial Law, that the Government has started attacking it's own people, that the "death camps" have opened, that the apocalypse is coming...

Maybe Alex needs a new car? Seems he has these little moments of complete fantasy a couple of times a year now and thousands buy into it. He's nothing more than a Televangelist preaching his own brand of crazy to the people who are stupid enough to follow it and give him money too.

You know, back in the day there really wasn't much need for FEMA anyway. A disaster happened, and people would pick up and restore their own communities. Granted something like Hurricane Katrina had a much larger impact than something like Hurricane Betsy, but at the same time you sit, and wonder what has happened to us. Why are we so dependent on the government now? When something happens everyone sits around and waits for the government to step in.

All I'm saying is that if local communities took care of what they should be taking care of there wouldn't be all this FEMA Camp conspiracy stuff in the first place.

Look buddy. I have personally been there. The 12ft high fences with prison style razor wire surrounding the facility are a (pardon the pun) DEAD give away. The razor wire pointing inward is to keep people in. If the fence was there to keep tresspassers out, then the razor wire would be pointed out.

It is certainly proper for FEMA to be "ready" for natural disasters and such. But its when you start seeing a massive increase in supplies, man power and locations, that you start to think.... why are the mobilizing??? What do they know? What are they gearing up for? If it is indeed for natural disasters, then one must ask.... How do they know? 2012 anyone???? There are hundreds of photos and news clips showing massive build ups of what are being called... by FEMA them selves... as casket liners. Tens of thousands of them are being stockpiled across the country. Many at these proclaimed camps. Why the massive increase in coffins????? There is also a massive mobilization of military hardware and troops to various locations around the country. WHY??? What is going on that we are not being told about?? And then you read about the NDAA and the Dictatorial powers it gives to the executive branch of the government.The US now has the legal right to arrest and indefinitely detain, with out just cause OR due process, any one they see as a "domestic" terrorist.below is a short list of just a few of the people they intend to label as "domestic terrorists";

- Any one missing fingers. (bomb makers i guess)
- Anyone who grows their own food
- Most returning vets
- Home schoolers
- Christians
- Anyone with more than 7 days worth of food stockpiled
-anyone speaking out against the government and its actions. ( so long bill of rights!)

This isnt my list.... It was compiled by a study sponsored by the state of Minnesota. After public outcry they repudiated the report... but that doesn't mean it went away. This is the scary end of why the camps are being built, staffed and stocked at an alarming rate.

Well your wrong and thats that so deal with it. It's for trains and it's a bad neighborhood. Locally the water treatment plant has 10 foot fences with the wire going towards the outside and the sewer treatment plant is the opposite. Welcome to the real world get used to it
