Broken and bruised she wakes up... staring up at a night sky that no one recognizes..... that night sky is her own and as she stares at the stars... and she stares at the trees her mind begins wonder about this peace, a peace she feels but does not understand. Tall Red Wood Oaks that are young and growing... some reaching to the heavens, others not even reaching there, because they have not yet fully grown and matured. She hears the soft murmurs of the wind and she looks around seeing the brush and the bushes and knowing that that is what she must push through to reach the light... to reach the land she could not see before. There she pushes through the thick prickly branches and there she see's a old gentleman who has a aged but handsome face. He wears a suite of armor and his eyes are the brightest and prettiest blue she has ever seen. He is sitting upon the edge of a cliff that appears to look down around a brightly lit city.... and as he motions for her to sit down beside him She sits beside him she begins to wonder if this is all but a fantasy... a hallucination of her mind. Once she does sit down beside him she leans into him.... for once feeling peace and warmth and love... and trusting. Trusting in an unknown like she has never trusted before, and then she is pulled into his lap... and as she falls asleep... waking up later to see herself beneath the stars.... and upon his chest.... to later seeing herself upon her back.... and then it all drifts away into peace.... something she has never known.
