this has just floored me...

link to video of barney franks statement

the bit that i find strange is when barney said,
"i did not expect members of congress to trade on insider information"
the head of the house finacial services commity never thought?

never looked onto indider trading or it was in his favour to not look?

here is about congress members complaining about the insider trading bill and how unfair it is

link to congress crying about having to follow insider trading laws

i like it,

"legally no" but in the moral court yes.

lol
must watch them squarm...

is this really going to pass?
if so there will be many people retiring from congress in the short term lol

Yeah, how convenient. Especially since Frank has just announced his own plans for retirement.

would it be ironic if 99% of them was guilty of this sort of behaviour?

wow how long ago did he mention that he was ablut to retire?
it sounds like he needs to retire

i wounder how many would acually go to jail on tecnicalities?
if they were acually investigated.

if it was blatent then small things need to be in order,
or else its illegal on procedural grounds

Tell me about it! I believe we are getting ready to see a whole bunch of them admitting that they're jumping ship by the safety word 'retirement'. Probably taking the pension and running to S. America while they can still get out of the US with their skin on their bones. I don't believe it's any mistake that Bush purchased a bunch of land in S. America prior to his term ending. Seems to be a trend with these bleached collar criminals. Buying land outside of this country right as their "job" is ending should be a definite red flag to the commoners.

1% Hmm... I guess that leaves Ron Paul to move up from Congress to the Oval Office. His son Rand can stay back to teach the new guys that replace the criminals what made him and Dad a part of that 1% of honest people left up there. I love the comparison.
