JOBBIK (Hungary) protests outside US embassy in support of Iran

In 2010 the Hungarians voted for perhaps the most right-wing government in modern day Europe. Little did they know, the results would be… right-wing. This nation had voted for the Fidesz Party giving it a majority and launched a new political party, JOBBIK, into third place just barely behind the Socialists. What makes this unique is that Fidesz is one of the most conservative mainstream parties in Europe and currently govern the nation in a way that makes Liberals and Socialists want to yank their hair out. But a more newsworthy party is JOBBIK.

The ‘Movement for a Better Hungary’ has been labeled Neo-Fascist, Ultra-nationalist, and extremist by the Liberals-Socialists in Hungary and by the mainstream media in the West. They are without denying perhaps the most hard-line party in any European government today and do not tip-toe around the issues. The party outright declares its support for ‘looking to the east’ in geopolitics, referring to Iran, Russia, and China rather than the United States and United Kingdom. This position of theirs they are proving is not a lie.

One December 2nd the party staged a protest and gave a speech railing against the United States and Israel while defending Iran.

Hungarians Stage Rally in Support of Iran against Israel

Supporters of Hungary's nationalist Jobbik party gathered in front of the US Embassy in Budapest for a pro-Iran demonstration.

"Jobbik takes a stand for Iran, which is threatened by Israeli aggression," deputy leader Zoltan Balczo told the demonstrators.

Balczo, who is also deputy speaker of Parliament, accused Israel of ignoring international treaties and UN conventions, and asked the United States to consider but its own interests in dealings with Iran.

"The tail should not wag the dog," he said.

It appears Hungary has also refused to recall their ambassadors from Iran as the United Kingdom had requested due to the recent embassy hostage incident.

Hungary Rebuffs British Request for Recalling Ambassador from Iran

Hungary refused a British request from an EU Foreign Ministers meeting to recall their ambassadors from Iran.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi said his country would not to follow Britain in recalling its ambassador from Iran, adding that such a move would cripple normal day-to-day operations at its embassy in Tehran.

Following a meeting of EU foreign ministers, Martonyi said after Iranian students occupied the British embassy in Tehran for two hours on Tuesday night, a number of EU countries have recalled their ambassadors from Tehran, but only for consultation.

I recognize that the current government in Hungary is not wildly popular but overall they cannot be too disliked as the ruling party still polls around 60% with JOBBIK at 20% and the Socialists around 15%. My family in Hungary are loyal JOBBIK voters and I have spent a lot of time researching the party, all of it I like.

So its China,Russia and Hungary who support Iran at the moment, I wonder what other country's will join them if war/air strikes happen?

It's refreshing to see a few countries that have some political parties who seem to not be totally bought out yet. Right on Hungary! We need parties like that in Canada, all we have is garbage politicians, puppets on a string.

One assumption of the liberal world-view is that nationalism itself is the cause of warfare and imperialism, and that nationalists in different countries are automatically each other's enemies. Meanwhile, nationalists in various nations actually help each other to deconstruct the empires of transnational capitalism.

The elites work hard to equate nationalism with racism. Otherwise, people would openly question the global agenda, and its imposition of foreign interests on the local economy.

Take a look at the US president, Obama. He acts as if he were the president of the world; his every action is supposedly in the interest of the world. He'd do a lot better job of serving the globe if he simply and in a straightforward manor served American interests only.

Hungary and the US would have nothing to fear from each other if they were both run by nationalist parties, instead of globalist liars.

All of the american missteps of the last two decades were made "in the name of the greater (international) good." Nationalism doesn't accept a global 'coalition of the willing' as a legitimate reason to invade other nations, who are no threat to the US itself.
