The greatest weapon in the world."The Word"

I think that this is the greatest weapon in the world and in the same time the most deadly.

But in the same time could be the most peaceful weapon.

The Word could trigger wars the Word could bring peace.

It's very important how we use it.It's very important how we don't use it.

But we always do!

Our thoughts are expressed by words.

Hurt

Love

Wars

Think,Don't think

Fury,Anger

Violence,the violence of the Word,our thoughts scream in our heads and we scream to our thoughts..and then came the Word!

How can we control the Word?We don't,The Word control Us!

Give a good word.....to the World.

Have a look at a baby, does it have words? Why do we send children to school and teach them the ABC? If you were born with words you must be the only one!

Yes, humans have words animals have sensation. Animals can feel life and humans can think life.

No it is not a gift but we use them all day...they are the instrument of the living and the essence of the life!

You see how word control you and they'r meaning?I eat many menus in many restaurants....Depend what meaning you gave the Word!

I am not saying that words are not useful at descibing and communicating, it is what we have. I agree that words can be very powerful.
Finding the wordless state is more powerful than the word in my opinion.

Words are secondary.

Action is the true weapon, ("weapon" is not my choice of description though, just playing along with your thread title).

As the old worn out clique's go....
Action speaks louder than words - walk the walk, talk the talk.... blah blah blah.

As it turns out, the spoken word contributes a small minority in our ability to communicate and interact with others - last I knew, it's around the 7% mark in our effectiveness to convey meaning.

Thought provoking thread though.

Jesus said it's not what we put into our mouths that make us unclean but what comes out.

There is only one power and that is you. The words you hear or read can do nothing without you.

words are only labels we give to things. But I agree and know words are powerful for good and bad.
