You had a snake and didn't have a licence.
That shows how ignorant you are and how little you know about the care of animals.
You are lucky you were not caught by the Police, a Ranger or an Animal Activist and reported.

The fact you are still supporting this event tells me - and anybody else reading this who is awake - that perhaps you are as damaged as the person who planned, enacted, filmed and broadcast this event. Perhaps you are a psychopath in the making too. There are many damaged people in this world all I can do is hope you find the right help one day soon.

I don't think it's about that really. I understand both arguments, but the fact of the matter is the people arguing for some sort of understanding of why this doesn't have to be considered anything negative are doing so because the argument is there to be made. That is the only reason. You guys are fully aware of the real circumstances here and know that this isn't business as usual and that it was done to be cruel to an animal and to shock and disgust people.

I am not going to watch the video.
The kid needs to be nailed hard and fast by the Metropolitan police,especially as he has said there will be more video's of the same kind.
As people mentioned before,this person is a potential future murderer of humans-didn't Jeffry Dahmer used to torture and kill innocent animals as a kid?

I asked you a VERY direct question on how DOMESTIC KITTENS are seen by Western/European cultures at PRESENT. And if they are NATURAL food sources for any wild animals.

I am not asking you hypothetical questions like "would you eat a cat" or "if you were starving in the wild is it acceptable" or "did people eat cats in 2000 B.C.

I asked a very specific question. Answer it instead of playing Devils Advocate or spinning into hypotheticals.

Hm, I am not really sure what you are going on about, Amanda5. At least where I live, (East Coast, U.S.) you do not need a license to own a snake. I, in fact, own a snake and know people who do. You can walk right down to the pet store and buy one, or, you can catch on of the various snakes that live in the grass around here. There is no law that states you need special licensing to own a snake.

I still know cruelty and atypical behavior when I see it and I assume since you are smart enough to see an argument that can be reasonably made you also see those things. Let's be real about this particular incident though.

I also don't believe this person should not be labeled twisted or insane for doing this. My question is why he chose a kitten as opposed to something more traditional as pet food? Based on the furniture, bed sheets, and general look of his home, he can clearly afford some regular snake food...

I would be happy to give you that were that the premise or even the bulk of the posts. It is not though. That did not happen until page 5.

The point of the thread and all the posts were that what this one act in this video showed was something sick because it was a cat and not a rat. Please re-read the thread again. Now that they latched onto, "See we knew he was sick" does not change the fact that the main argument was - this is sick because it is a cat and not a rat.

It was done for cruelty and to shock, he has done it before. I along with others here think it's the same guy as the vacuum killings.

Meaning, are DOMESTIC KITTENS prey, in ANY circumstance, habitually?

And I was submitting to the fact that I believe ANY carnivore or omnivore would prey on a DOMESTIC KITTEN if given the opportunity. It's an easy meal for them.

Of course, DOMESTIC KITTENS are not part of nature, I see what you are trying to say. However, this is not the issue at hand. I don't think anyone is actually blaming the snake.
