You try to logically argue with "logic" arguments - but sadly you fail.

Because with "logical" arguments i COULD also lay down why it would make sense to kill handicapped babies etc..which could make it "logically" right - but *STILL* morally wrong.

Just - this doesn't have ANYTHING to do with logical explanation. A person who is killing a pet that way is a sick *er and you can argue as long as want, it wont change this fact.

Psycho in the making. A psycho/sicko is one who doesn't have an emotion..and if you can without emotion kill a pet like that...well...then you are sick. And if you don't UNDERSTAND this and try to "logically" debate why it is "ok" for you..then i cant help you either..you are *almost* as sick then.

Really? How does that prove anything. The food chain is only a tier system of eating. Sure a mouse might be at the "bottom" but do you really think a lion, who is consider at the top, is going to go prey on mice?

Also, to state that an animal is of more worth just because of what the "food chain" states is completely absurd. Nature works together, no matter who small a creature or large they all play a part in the entire thing and help each other. Without one the rest of the chain could fail. Mice eat up scraps of wasted food and help clean up the environment, just as a buzzard removes a carcass from the roads we drive on. They all serve equal importance. Honestly, as far as cats go (which are a domestic animal) they really don't provide much to nature. My town is unfortunately littered with feral and stray cats that continuously breed and cause disease to spread. Now, of course, this is what an animal is programmed to due, breed and make it's species strive, but these animals are no longer scene as part of nature and hardly exists in nature. Animals in nature don't easily get overpopulated because they have something larger to eat them and keep the numbers normal. Nothing eats a cat though, nor is it allowed according to the people in this thread. So, they just continue to breed and breed. That's not to say that we should condone to the killing of these animals, but that is how nature would deal with them.

Cool and thank you for adding that. I am by no means a fan of deer hunting. I find nothing brave or exciting about sitting in a tree all day waiting for something to walk by so you can shoot it with a gun.

BUT!!!!!!

The deer here overpopulate so much that without hunting, they end up starving in fields and littering roads.

That is how Ohio looks to me with cats. I would rather people started feeding those cats to other animals and help the cycle go on instead of talking about how cute they are before they stop feeding them and let them out into busy roads.

I guess cruelty is higly subjective.

Had to post another reply after I read the comments. I really just can't believe how many people are defending this?! I would not consider myself a PETA activist but for many reasons this is wrong. Well for starters this seems like a copycat remake of the cat killer video from this exact same time last year. I wonder is this a new Holiday Tradition? Can we look forward to hooded FARTS killing kittens on their beds every December?!

Same time frame pretty much. Same Premise: a hooded fart puts a HELPLESS kitten on the bed, pets it, then kills it.

ETA if that is a girl maybe this is some kind of sadistic couple or something. Also I wanted to add to the sickos who made this video...when you are eighty years old covered in deep bed sores in your own mess screaming at a unresponsive nurse while painfully desenting into dementia remember you deserved everything. Karma is real.

Not trying to start an argument here, but, do you think (since most people are claiming that it's the whole trust thing that is an issue) that it would have been better for this person to physically abuse the kitten and treat it like crap before it died? Would that have made it better if he didn't treat it nicely before it's death? I would surely hope that someone treated me with care before I was about to die, regardless of how the death came to be.

The cat is defenceless and is not found in the wild were a python would live, that is why it is sadistic and sick. Cats are not sold as food items in pet shops, that is why it is sadistic and sick. This python was not dieing and most likely had other food source available, that is why it is sadistic and sick. There are 100 other reasons why this is just plain wrong and it has nothing to do with "a emotional response". If you want to justify this guys actions then I suggest you evaluate your morals. Because you sure as hell don't want to get your wires are crossed like this guy.

I also think its cruel to feed rodents to snake too. Do you know why? Because they are defenceless. Atleast in nature a rodent has a chance to escape from a snake. I think keeping large snakes as domesticated animals is cruel and not right. Much the same as keeping a lion or tiger as a pet. Predators should not be kept as pets full stop.

Separate the animals (both of them) and look at the human animal.

What this person is doing is not natural.
What this person is doing is not normal.
This is psychopathic behaviour.
Planning the event is psychopathic behaviour.

Sharing this 'conquest' is psychopathic behaviour.

A cat or dog or any other animal by the side of the road is an awful unfortunate accident - not psychopathic.
Animals being killed and carved up in a slaughter house is unpleasant and happens because people have been brainwashed into thinking they need meat to survive - psychopaths have brainwashed you.
Animals and humans being tortured and experimented on is wrong and psychopathic.

Pet shops supply the appropriate food.
Also consider that having a snake for a pet is a big responsibility.
Snake owners have to have a licence and need to know what to feed it.
Snake owners don't feed kittens to their snakes nor do they film the act.

At least that is what anonymous determined. I think they had found pictures of him with the same blanket that is on the bed.

1) Cats are not a snakes natural food source. Cats are domestic pets, and pets, at least in OUR culture are not meant for food. You have a problem with that in America, live in any country you feel where cats are food. In Western and most European cultures, pets are not food.

2) Those of who claim there is no problem with this overlook the very sadistic fact he is filming this for shock effect or out of his own sadistic pleasure. He knew it was not 'right'.

There are plenty NON pets available for a Python's diet. All which are standard.
Even if this was done in a country where cats are eaten and it is acceptable in their culture, he would still be wrong because it's not a native food source.

I just googled him. Yeah it is exactly the same guy. He lives in Canada? They must not have really good laws against this.
