Ignoring a presidential veto threat, the Democratic-controlled Senate on Thursday overwhelmingly approved a massive, $662 billion defense bill that would require the military to hold suspected terrorists linked to al-Qaida or its affiliates, even those captured on U.S. soil.

Comment Question: Can't we all standup to the industrial war/oil complex, and recall these fools who are slowly marching us all off to the ghetto for later transport in cattle cars?

This has to stop, and we can stop it if we really care about our freedoms

I think the funnier thing that is overlooked here is that although in the actual budget, the newly dubbed for shrewd factor "entitlement" programs receive more than the military, BUT we see spending bills like this one for "supplemental" money all the time which takes the total budget for the military way over "entitlement" programs.
