Dear Brotherman,

Forget about "practical use." The neatest things in the world have no practical use. A fist-sized diamond, a 200 mph car, the Pyramids, etc.

These things are meant to stir dreams. They give man something to strive for. (Yeah, I'd like one too. Only problem is I live where it's flat. I'd probably send a round into the next county.)

With respect,
Charles1952

I'd have to rename mine to the .700 WTF Zombie Slayer since practical is out the window and I want it in bubble gum Pink with a break machined to look like a blue daisy.

I still think this one has way more cool/silly factor

ETA In retrospect I guess the people in the vid I posted just don't realise how much kick the thing gives and use the wrong stance. Its funny though. I'd love to see an automatic version and watch people fly through the air like they were wrestling with a huge water hose like the fireman use and need 2 or 3 peeps to hold steady

Dear LightSpeedDriver,

Thank you, thank you. A wonderful video. You'd think they'd learn after the first couple of shots. Anyway, thanks for the first chuckle I've had in days. It reminded me of the time when I was on my uncle's farm and he let me use his 12 gauge for one shot. I was nine.

With respect,
Charles1952

No practical use?

I might need to shoot a fullsize Dodge Truck one day...

If you going to go that big you only have one shot on what im implying you mean a head on from far away at a moving target do you see that weight, muzzle lift, its a single shot? Id take the tried and true M40A3 or the .338 lapua. Id personally take the "zombie slayer" aka dino rifle lol for entertainment shooting

You are most welcome, I thought it was kind of on topic albeit with a much smaller calibre. I am sure using shotguns (which I have never fired) aged 9 has the same effect

As an aside and a dorky kind of question:

Is there a physical limit to how big a bullet can get and be fired successfully? Is there still room to grow, even from the size posted by the OP? I am pretty clueless about firearms.

Thanks, my apologies. You can tell from my stats that I dislike starting threads. This is one of the main reasons why. I'll alert the mods to close. Sorry guys, I'll go back in my hole.
