i never thought he was the showman that most americans thought. just the way he emphasises some words to make sure we understand the importance.
almost like he's talking to children.
whether christian or muslim, does anybody buy this?
pandering to the population, after the hammering the right gave him over the thanksgiving speech he couldn't let it happen again, but at the same time it seems as though he went overboard.

Mr. Obama panhandles to whatever group is on the days agenda. Not really new. Pick a a holiday, country, or religous group and he'll say he was there for them all along.

He doesn't want to offend anyone at this point, in the bid to get re elected.

It just SEEMS more generic now because no ones buying "Mr. Popularities" rhetoric.

We're all hip to it now.
