Cleverbot Debunked!

One day I say to me why not to play a little game,so I went to that page and I start a little chat with cleverbot...

I was sure that behind it there are people it that try to gather some info and I was right.

So I start to play a little game with those minds behind the screen.

I will render the conversation as accurate as I can remember!

Me:"I can see you i am right behind you,you drink your coffee in that beautiful military uniform."
Cleverbot:"Are you my husband?"
Me:"Yes and I can see you,why didn't you get the children to school?"
Cleverbot:"Sorry I was late,you know last night..."

Another day,

Me:"I can see you,I think you didn't get to much info for today"
Cleverbot:"How can you see me?"
Me:"I see you in that big room in your uniform,with all that 40 other officers watching the monitors"

After he get nervous he say:
Cleverbot:"you don't know anything about me,I am a Major and you and you don't know anything about me...."
Me:"I am sorry Major don't get angry just a routine check out to you in this shift"
Me:"At what time your shift will end?"
Cleverbot:"1 pm"
Me:"Well then I wish you a easy shift"

Another day,

Cleverbot:" I love president Obama."
Me:"I love Bejamin Netanyahu"
Cleverbot:"I love You".
Man I laugh all day at this one .Imagine that....

So, I try to remember accurate though it was some months ago!

You see, cleverbot is just a piece of software! connecting conversations and rehashing received questions and statements from other visitors. I could say to cleverbot, "Your mother mates out of season", and cleverbot in a conversation with somebody else would repeat what I've said. You told cleverbot, "I love Bejamin Netanyahu" and cleverbot will store that statement and parrot it to somebody else.

Cleverbot is an internet parrot.

So was Jabberwacky and Pandora data gleaning bot also? It is worth noting that the OOTB bot from pandora will ask for your credit card number lol:

From my point of view the only thing to debunk about cleverbot (and similar) is that its not true AI.

I've read that clever bot is basically a revolving door chat room. Everyone on the site is talking to a real person, but you're being bounced around from person to person, as you input something in the text box. The website does generate automated responses, to uphold the illusion that it is a "bot" and not just a glorified chat room.

Every time I go and talk to the bot for a while it pops up a script or coding box for me to input to. Has any one else seen this.

of course it looks bot generated! sh#t-in-sh#t-out. the code has to come from somewhere?? bots would have more a natural language if programmers had personality

but seriously, if it were something like chat-roulette, a good web developer would be able to tell by the source. Anyone here a coder?.. Apart from myself, of course.
