The rumbling sounds i hear around here in Mass. do in some ways resemble jet engines,a very large and close by jet engine, but the closest airport from where i live is Logan and its about 15-20 miles away...

Theres an old Naval Air Station about 5 miles away, but airplanes havent flown in and out of there in over 10 years and its being turned into a housing developement,in stead of what i wish it was being turned into,a casino, but the Mass. Lottery didnt like that proposal very much....

Theres rail road tracks close by for the T-trains,but the rumbling sounds are not the trains and i have heard the rumbling sounds and the fast approaching train at the same time and after the train passed, the rumbling sound was still going on,seemingly far away and in the opposite direction...

This rumbling sound slowly rises, then peaks and then slowly fades away, lasting around 3 or 4 minutes in total and sounds rather frightening because it also resembles some kind of gigantic unseen machine thats crushing everything in its path as it slowly grinds its way closer and closer ...

I must stress that i have always lived where i am now and i spent most of my childhood outside playing in the yard and in the woods and "i never heard these rumbling sounds before",only within the past 5-10 years have they beem audible...

Somethings changing with the earth i think and if its the beginnings of a pole shift or an axis flip,we are in for a hellishly terrible rude awakening...

Interesting descriptors! (including re: the casino :lol

A sound that rises and falls - hmm similar to the sounds we are hearing, for sure.
It seems hard for some to detect - again with the sounds you reported rising every 3 or 4 minutes, as we have also heard the increments in... if you're not listening carefully, sounds just like a passing plane.
I also get your previous experience in the area.. again, we know what sounds normal and what doesn't.

Mother Earth ain't happy and who can blame her.

What i meant was that their total length, the duration of theses sounds, from when they start rumbling, then reach their crescendo and then fade away usually lasts about 3 - 4 minutes, usually only once a day or every few days...

ohh. I see. Thanks for the further explanation.
Which also means we seem to have more of the sounds here.
We took a short drive to the country this morning to see if perhaps there is a large, constant fleet of semis on the highway closest to us, as the sounds are back this morning. The highway was really quiet. It was way too windy to tape.
Interestingly enough the sounds are more prevalent in the city than out. Is this because there is a concentration of structures to echo off of? So many quvestions.

I would think that if these sounds were from the activities of a large city echoing off into the distance that those sounds would be more or less constant, not just short duration events that come and go every day or so and keep in mind that these "ghost cannons" as some call them, have been heard and reported from all over the world for at least hundreds of years and most likely thousands...

And now we have a mining-induced mini-earthquake in SK.. not saying its related, just saying. Also didn't realize the media ever reported earthquakes being related to mining.. at least not in the stable earth of the prairies, or so I thought.

this phenomena is caused from the solar flares; the energy is causing electromagnetic static (which usually cannot be heard). That is what your hearing.

It would sound like a pulse but it is just energy.

Yes, the more we hear the sounds, the more solar flares make sense. It sounds like waves of energy reverberating across the sky. Its seeming almost constant at times. To note, most times the planes flying overhead, and the ones coming in/taking off seem louder as well, unsure of that one? Or just that we're listening more closely now?
The youtube vid (from another thread) that shows the plasma hitting the satellite camera lens was a perfect illustration of the power of those flares. I'm sure you've seen it, I can find/post it, if you haven't.
The note re: the mini earthquake was more or less for a record - as we get hardly any here. I recall someone in the southern US reporting sounds in the sky that were followed by an earthquake.

Im 40 years old and one big problem with the solar flare theory.I spent the majority of my first 15 years playing outside in the yard and in the woods all over this area where i still live and i have never once heard these rumbling sounds before, only in the past 10 years or so and surely there was plenty of solar flare activity going on for the first 30 or so years that i never once heard them...Somethings happening, something about the earth is changing...imo...

Oh absolutely.. been here even longer and never heard these sounds til this past December. The first couple of times were plain unnerving, and now are fast becoming the norm. Here, anyway, they seem to blend in with normal traffic, etc. sounds so I guess thats why its not getting more attention- ?

Combine that with no songbirds since August - well no birdsongs in the mornings, or rarely any time, and damned straight this is not normal. Whatsoever.

You've been hearing them for 10 years or so?!!

Unnerving is a good way to describe the feeling that these rumbling sounds make you feel.Like some kind of gigantic unseen machine thats rolling along and crushing everything in its path as it slowly grinds its way closer and closer and just when you think something bads going to happen, the ominous sounds start to fade away.Everytime i hear them,i think this time they're not going to slowly fade away and they're going to continue getting louder and then something terrible is going to happen...

Your in Canada and i'm in Mass. and although i dont know where in Canada, were still quite a ways away from eachother and your hearing these sounds and so am i and your noticing the absence of song birds and i'm noticing the almost total absence of any birds and squirrels...Hmmmm?

And what am i suppose to think and say and do about these bizzare goings on?...Nothing?... Just keep going to work day after day and "act" like nothings going on?...No way...Thankfully we are able to communicate over long distances here at ATS and get a much more clear picture of whats going on and just how vast of an area its happening across, whatever it is...

Couldn't agree with you more, blocula. In Saskatchewan here, so far away from you that we shouldn't be hearing the same things at all.
"Mini" earthquake in southern SK in the last 10 days... reported in the MSM as possibly caused by mining (that was shocking they said it was caused by anything, much less mining, as you think that would cause concern since we're currently being mined to death. Since the msm reported it, I have to wonder whats really behind it.
Crack opened up in the ground about 40 miles from here this summer. I'm sure that happens all the time. Have you seen the crack in the ground in Michigan at all? (along that fault line?) Freakshow!
And the absence of birds - it was very eye opening and somewhat shocking (gotta say it again cause its another freakshow) to see the amount of replies I got to the "no birds" thread- reports of the same thing -from all over the world - but yeah. Keep plugging into the work-eat-sleep game. Everythings alright.
Good to keep in touch on this! Thanks.

I'm in Massachusetts and my neighbors, myself and others have noticed and commented on an almost total absence of birds, squirrels, chipmunks and other such animals...

Where are they?

Are the earths polar ice caps about to rapidly melt?

Are the earths poles about to shift or are they shifting?

Is the earths axis about to tilt or flip,or is it already slowly tilting of flipping?

This time period last year i took pictures in our backyard of about 15 squirrels in one small area and about 7 species of birds right there with them, this year, next to no birds and no squirrels at all and not just for a day or two either, its been many weeks since i've seen any...

Every single previous year we have seen multitudes of bird species and squirrels and even bees and butterflies in our back yard and in the surrounding towns during the summer for as far back as i can remember, this past year, around an 80 - 90% drop off rate, somethings very wrong...

This isnt good at all, take just today for an example,i did not see one single bird today, none, not one squirrel either, not any animal anywhere at all and i drove through and walked around about three towns today, why?

Where the hell have they gone to?

I live in an area with lots of trees and lots of woods and i usually see animals everywhere around here every single day, except lately and it seems to be getting worse,i'm seeing less and less of them more and more..

Last winter there were exposed squirrel nests all over the place high up within the trees all in plain sight like they always have been, like they always are and yet this winter right now, none, not one single squirrel nest anywhere around here...

Unfortunately,i think they are fleeing,or have already fled the coast lines, they sense a need to get away from the ocean,at least thats what i thinks going on around here and i live about 10 miles from the ocean,i wish i didnt, but here i am,at least my town is around 120ft above sea level and it might be an island, someday. If i lived right now somewhere that was at sea level or a few feet above,i would'nt be staying there very long...

I have always thought and said that bizzare animal behaviour will be one of the very first signs we notice.Animals live closer to nature, they exist in harmony with nature a lot more than we do and they will inadvertently show us the beginning of something terrible that we will have no choice but to face and endure and the birds can just fly away to places their instincts tell them will be more safe for them, what can we do?

Agreed again! We've also same the same decrease in all the wildlife. Elders in our north say the caribou aren't around like they were before either. Extra concern cause parts of the north are relatively untouched - except for all the freaking drilling.
No butterflies last summer, just the occasional cabbage butterfly. Hardly any hummingbirds, and again, the birds that used to start singing at 3 a.m. in the summer and 5 a.m. in the winter, are gone. The bird feeder set out 2 or 3 weeks before Christmas -- is still full. That should be impossible.
Talking and sharing is what we can do now - puzzling beyond belief, it is.

It is normal not seeing animals or seeing them less in the winter.

As far as solar flares, seems to me the only real change we can rely on is the ability to actually see them.

Here is what solar flare have done since late 1800 and that is what we know of:

I have lived here in Mass. for 44 years and i have seen summer and winter birds all summer and winter long for everyone of those summers and winters. We have at least six bird feeders in our yard and for good reason,we use to be visited by hundreds of birds everyday, except this year, the presence of any seasons birds, even seagulls, around here this year has dropped off around,80-90%...

I have seen squirrels all my life around here, especially in the autumn, except this autumn, maybe i saw one or two the entire year and the squirrel nests that are always exposed in the trees during the winter around here are all but gone.Last year there were dozens of them everywhere in the surrounding trees, this year i think i saw one and it may have been an old one and and so squirrels, chipmunks, racoons ect,ect have dropped off at least 90%...

Every other spring and summer i have seen multitudes of bees, hornets, wasps and butterflies, even ants every single day, this past spring and summer i think i saw a couple of bees and perhaps 3 or 4 butterflies and a few wandering ants throughout the entire spring and summer...

Where are they? Whats going on?

Wherever they are and whatever is going on,its bad new, theres no good way to look at it and no good way to think about it...

Unfortunately,i think and i feel theres something horrible lurking just around the corner about to reveal its terrible self, about to unleash its unstoppable reality upon us and the instincts of the wildlife around here has warned them to get away and they have...
