'US used nukes on Iraq, Afghanistan'

2ndrevolt.com
“Tactical nuclear weapons were used, at least one in Iraq and several were used in Afghanistan --in the Tora Bora mountains,” Peter Eyre, a Middle East consultant, said.

Eyre pointed out that the atomic bomb dropped on Afghanistan's Tora Bora region was so powerful that it actually created an earthquake there.

The analyst went on to say that the use of such lethal weapons by US military, which is a gross violation of the Geneva Convention, has been sanctioned by the US presidents; thus they should be prosecuted for war crimes.

"In America, the ultimate commander in chief is the

As far as I know, and this from watching commentary on the conflict, the US used Thermobaric bombs on the caves at tora bora. They are a type of FAE (Fuel Air Explosive) that sucks all the air out of a cave for example and the enemy inside dies of lack of oxygen.

Thermobaric Bomb Wikipedia

I would like to see proof of a nuke, but there is often claims of nukes used because people find Depleted Uranium dust everywhere and somehow think it came from a nuclear weapon. DU is used to defeat armor and is used in a few different munitions.

Idk i am reading this atm..... on Afganistan

"some form of uranium weapon had been used (...) The results were astounding: the donors presented concentrations of toxic and radioactive uranium isotopes between 100 and 400 times greater than in the Gulf War veterans tested in 1999." www.umrc.net

The results also confirmed that the toxic radiation was not attributable to ‘heavy metal' depleted uranium ammunition (DU), but to another unidentified form of uranium contamination. Of course on this issue of the US starting a nuclear war, the US media has also chosen to remain silent, so as not to ‘endanger' in any way the Pentagon's future pre-emptive war plans

I doubt nuclear weapons were used in either Iraq or Afghanistan, however.....I certainly wouldn't dismiss it outright and if ever proven then the relevant POTUS should indeed be prosecuted for war crimes - no if's or but's.

It can easily be debunked. Look at the originating news source for the article -

PressTV.

Iranian State Media

I will add that the US does have very large bombs in its arsenal that can penetrate up to 200 feet of mountain side. The resulting explosion does resemble a small nuke, complete with small mushroom cloud. Im not sure if they were used in Iraq or Afghanistan though. I vaguely remember seeing something about their use in tora bora

Ummmm I hope you don't count your link as proof to what you're saying because the guys you're quotiing don't back up their story. On what EXACT date did the US attack Iraq with nukes?

OT: I wish I knew how to embedd a video. Sorry I will learn.

Any way. Check out the final mushroom cloud. This is one big bomb. And Russia has an even bigger one.

I really hope someone can debunk this.

How is one to debunk something for which there is no evidence?

ATS ate my reply after I submitted it, and I'm not going to bother rewriting it. So here it is in succinct bullet point format:

* The source is PressTV, the television propaganda arm of the Iranian government.

* Their source is Peter Eyre, a "self-employed consultant" (i.e. unemployed) who writes long screeds about the CIA-Mossad false flag on 9/11 and Satanic Freemason pedophiles linked to the government.

* The idea that a nuclear weapon could be secretly detonated over Afghanistan and no one knew about it until Peter Eyre told Iran's propaganda channel ten years later is laughable.
