I started taking omega 3 suppliments about a month and a half ago and I would absolutely suggest these to anyone. If you are looking for high quality suppliers, you can find lists of those that meet or exceed the standard on ifos.com

If your therapist was pushing for one drug or another then you'd be advised to take one particular suppliment. There are many different brands of fish oils. I personally would not use fish oil but instead use Krill Oil. It's more effective and higher in Omeg3.

A little paranoid. Alot of the vitamin supplements are pointless moneymakers, but fish oil is incredibly important for the correct functioning of the brain and other systems. She is pushing it because she believes in it wholeheartedly. It's also good for the mental development of young children.

Can't beat a bit of cod liver oil, even though it mings...
Our grannies swore by it, so why you should think anything dubious about such things is a mystery. It also provides Vit D too, and god know's in Britain we need all the help there we can get.
