The Constitution is null and void in America. Ever since 9/11, the government has become more oppressive. Unconstitutional spying on citizens like Stalinist Russia, unconstitutional pat-downs and searches like some sort of Nazi Germany checkpoint, and now, members of the government who swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic, are voting to allow the military to secretely kidnap American citizens who are deemed a threat, and imprison them indefinitely without a trial.

Every part of that reeks of tyranny, and none of it hints towards protection. The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. Al Qaeda is a CIA puppet organization. They staged a false-flag terror attack, and we invaded Afghanistan. What is there to gain from that? Oil and opium profits, a location from which to attack other countries who don't go along with the agenda, an increase in defense budgets, the militarization of the police, and finally, oppressing the people at home slowly but surely.

Tell them that they have to give up their rights in order to be safe, and they will gladly comply. Soon enough, anybody who tries to do something about this Stalinist, Orwellian government may be labeled a domestic terrorist, and get hauled away to a prison, never to be seen again.

The Founding Fathers warned about this, but the American people ignored their advice and fell prey to tyranny like the mindless fools they are. Benjamin Franklin advised us to not give up our liberty for security, but look where we are.

James Madison warned that the means of defense against foreign danger historically have become instruments of tyranny at home, and that if tyranny and oppression would come to America, it would be under the guise of fighting a foreign enemy. Look where we are now.

Thomas Jefferson said that even under the best forms of government, those entrusted with power will slowly but surely pervert it into tyranny, and look where we are now. He also stated that from time to time, the tree of liberty must be refreshed with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Tyranny is fast approaching, and the doo-doo will without a doubt hit the fan in the near future. Or will this just blow over? Will the war against a tactic one day be declared won, and will we regain our rights? Will the Patriot Act, the TSA, and the NDAA throw in the towel, and will we return to the old way of things, when the Constitution was actually obeyed? I doubt it, and John Adams shared a simliar belief: "Liberty, once lost, is lost forever"

Yeah I had a sick feeling on the day of 911 that this was where the united states was headed
I almost want to congratulate the real masterminds because they pulled the wool over so many peoples eyes and have manged to get so much accomplished in their favor.

It must be fun being the Elite and treating the earth like it's your chess board.
Checkmate USA.

Good post.
Been talking about similar issues in this thread where I argue why I see the US (and to some extend also Europe) becomming more and more like totalitarian regimes. But I dont address your founding fathers as you do so we got diffrent approaches to our rant against the western regimes.

It is realy offensive to see all the places where the government brake your constitution. This incluede assassinations, wars, unwarented seizure and searches, manipulations, lies, guantanamo and secret prisons, the TSA pornguards and you could keep add to this list.

Excellent post and well written. S & F.

I have been struggeling in my mind for a long time with Benjamin Franklin and the US forefathers' said warning about the correlation between freedom and security. (If you are willing to give up your freedom for security, you deserve neither freedom nor security.)

My hic-cup is this: at that time Americans had no idea that this will one day become a serious issue within their reality, therefore it was not even on their minds much (well, definately not to the extent of threatening military rule and total compromised personal freedom).

An idea can only become reality when it has, in some form or another, been introduced to your reality.

How come the forefathers of the USA saw this coming at a time when the American dream was what most people were having on their minds? It seem poles away from the that period and time.

Just asking.

The faster the Tyranny comes, the faster people wake up and take back this country.

Full blown freedom is also fast approaching in my opinion.

One nation under God based on the blueprint of revolution our founding fathers provided us with. I have more than faith that when it's all said and done, it will be 2000-somethin, not 1984

I chose these quotes for you OP Mr. "TupacShakur"

"for every dark night there's a brighter day" Tupac

"My Mama used to tell me if you can't find something to live for, you best find something to die for.” Tupac

There is a reason this man is an American icon.

Sorry I was being cynical to blow off steam at what seems to be an oppressive situation I really don't want to
end up in a detention center nor see anyone else end up in one or be taken away in the middle of the night.
It's such a scary possibility and all the more frightening because it is all coming down hard.
No more growing your own food, censorship of the internet, being declared an enemy in your own country,
tsa checkpoints.
Meanwhile .......................On Jersey Shore see what Snooki does next

I know your not being cynical.

I hope it doesn't happen on that large of a scale, but if something does not radically change over the next year, it will happen. I have already posted things online that could be used to put me away right now with the current laws and regime, I am sure I'll be first in line. Doesn't scare me though, I will never hand over my freedom. I listen to this song for inspiration, I am not looking back.

So to beat 'em they offer people the illusion of freedom
But when you're done dreamin' and wake up, tortured for treason
Then you can see them, hidin' behind the God they believe in (imo money)

The purpose of life is a life with a purpose
So I'd rather die for a cause than live a life that is worthless
I don't need the circus or a day of national observance
I need you to think for you and stop being a servant
Pawns only move a square in the game that they're used in
And realize it too late....

The only thing I would argue with you is the "approaching" part.
It's been here since Reagan/Bush and only growing steadily in power since.
9/11 was the catalyst for the final step in to tyranny and has led to the wars that have bled the people dry.
Those in power will never willingly relinquish it.
But this is not just the US; tyranny is rampant world wide and human rights and values are on the chopping block.
I've seen this coming for 30 years or more and it will not be pretty.
The next 2-3 years will decide what the future of mankind will be like.
mankind
maybe manhate would be more appropriate.
we live in interesting times at any rate.
It may be an age of heroes or an age of cowards, we'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah I got into conspiracy during the Clinton Administration and there was info circulating on the web at the time that the goal of the elite was to take away more and more rights and they would do that through creating problems
then seeming to offer a solution a decade later it seems to be quite true.
It seemed that things where easier during the late 90's but there was talk online that plans where being laid to bring the us into a police state.
Then came Sept 11 It was impossible for me to swallow the official story from the start because of my years of research beforehand but I saw that almost everyone else quickly got pulled into it.
The outcome was obvious the US was going to war which was most likely part of a bigger plan.
Unlike the cold war that I was old enough to remember and see come to an end this new one had such an abstractly defined enemy that it could go on indefinitely and be used to do anything.

I read 1984 for the first time in 96 and the book scared the crap out of me but it was also a wake up call to me to pay closer attention to everything that has been going on in the world and the so called media.

Yeah, it has been in the making for a long time. The financial crisis spiraling out of control popularity of Ron Paul, people showing disobedience at OWS, etc seems to be putting everything into fast forward.

I remembering thinking how dumb Alex Jones sounded talking about tyranny 5 years ago but now it's all becoming very real.

"It may be an age of heroes or an age of cowards"
Both, plenty of both, but many more cowards.

Hey Pac, I saw our local "representation" is in support of this current legislation; Sen. McCaskill. Yesterday I filled out the online correspondence to her under the category "homeland security" and politely accused her of treason. I figured I'm already on every list anyways, have not got a phone call back yet. I did mention that I'd be screaming bloody murder to every voter that would listen that she is a commie traitor. I figured that might get her attention.

We already know the invasions were planned before 9/11 based on memoirs.

The official story says 18 of the 25 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, they did pick A-stan even if you don't believe the conspiracy.

First off, read Haliburton's wiki to see why we are in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Second, the militias wiped out the poppy fields prior to the US invasion. That was unacceptable for the TPTB. Now the 'A-stan" produces 90% of the worlds opium again.

Doesn't really matter if 9/11 was planned or not, it was just one of the puzzle pieces. I think Osama did have something to do with it, he is related closely to the Suadi Royal family, by FAR the richest family in the world who have connections with bush and the rest of the administration.
