"The Declaration asserts that every individual has the right to dignity, freedom, equality, a basic standard of living that includes freedom from
hunger and violence, and encourages tolerance and solidarity."
These goals sound nice and fluffy, but somehow always turn into blood and tyranny when applied in reality. The freedom gets lost in the mix in that
sentence. And they don't explain how one can have dignity while being dependent on another entity (since this sentence implies communism)
How about NO Marshall Plan. How about we shrink our government, use our own resources where possible, maintain commerce without entangling alliances,
keep free markets in line, and promote self reliance while keeping a tiny shred of a safety net to help people in need on a VERY temporary basis?
Swim or drown.
