Has anyone else been magnetized to a whole new group of friends or culture that is totally different than what you had before.

I have. I have stumbled across some brilliant people as of late. Some I talk on the phone, some I've met, some are just internet acquaintances. But, my thoughts are that I enjoy them and their conversation more than my long time friends.

I would like others thoughts in this area.

I did two years ago.
gave up all but one long time friend.

It was all too much like groundhog day.
whining and bi***n about their lot in life, and not doing a damn thing to change it.

i'm more discerning about the company i keep.
ATS seems to help wake a few people up to the realities of life.

Would that be called synchronicity of thought, between two humans who are on the same wave length, in a recent time frame ???

Just my idea of it

Has not yet happened to me as of yet, but I notice this happening to many people around me.
I am not only happy for them, but I am happy for you as well.

I guess it is a "rite of passage" it will happen to you...if you allow! You are my new friend! So let it begin with that!

It happens somewhat periodically. It probably won't again now that I'm a bit older and almost entirely asocial.
