Actually, what Wikipedia says is that Hitler was a member of the National Socialist(Nazi) Party in Germany. However, this is merely a name of a
party. Ideologically, the Party was anti-Marxist and anti-Communist; which means it was anti-Socialist. It was named as it was named, implying the
opposite, because at the time of its formation Communism was gaining significant popularity throughout the region and naming it such, implying it was
a ideologically socialist party, was an effort to fool the ignorant.
Therefore, because the party that Hitler was the leader of was inherently anti-Socialist, ideologically, Hitler was anti-Socialist.
If you want to argue that because the name of the party implied socialism in the ideology it followed, we can argue that the Chinese are Republicans;
after all, they are the People's Republic of China...
