No, I'm saying the place he's been put could be used as such in the future, because it "fits the bill."
I said he was put in prison, and that the prison is part of a sport complex, and that the sports complex has a good chance of being a future 'disaster recovery site' or 'emergency center' ...

Thanks for clarifying.

I see one of two things happening, either he gets off with barely any punishment due to his connections, or he gets the book thrown at him and silenced so he can't expose anyone that may have been involved.

I don't know about Colorado, but the prisons out where I live give you a "kit" when you arrive that includes condoms and other things that someone in his position may require (lubrication). I'm not making a joke either, it's the truth. There are lots of diseases in prison and I'm sure you have heard what happens in prison due to the absence of ladies. The sad thing is this sick creep might actually like it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, police who break the law should face stiffer sentences than everyday citizens.

If a citizen kills a police officers it's automatic 1st degree murder charge, no matter the circumstances, just because it's a cop.

The system doesn't work if it isn't fair.

It's a fact that the federal penitentiary (where I live in Canada) gives "kits" to inmates as an introduction to the system. I imagine the same happens in American prisons (I hope).

Can anyone say they are really surprised? As long as we let those in an authoritarian position get away with almost anything by just a slap on the wrist, we can rest assured it will happen again.

Just think about it. Normal people know they get to jail if they do bad things, they do it nonetheless. Law enforcement and public officials know they get away with it much easier. Why would they not do it if they have the slightest urge? They are above the law.

No, I have never heard of American prisons giving rape preparation kits. If any do, it's a very small number of prisons. I just don't understand how prison rape is allowed to happen at all. Inmates should be under constant surveillance 24 hours a day. If that's not practical then it's only because of the way older prison buildings are designed.

Do Canadians have any prison rape statistics?
