I have been personally involved with the media for many years when I was politically active, and my critique of it comes from that experience. You can not trust any main stream media, they are not about telling you the truth, they are about making money. Even if they are not purposely lying for political reasons, they do it simply to get the story printed. There is mass competition between journalists to get their stories printed, and that causes the truth to be often neglected in favour of sensationalism and BS.

It's not just Fox, it's all of them, equally. Which one you think is more honest has more to do with your own brand of political misunderstanding than anything else.

Anyway, I trust the BBC News service, in fact, I believe it's one of the world leaders when it comes to delivering news from all corners of the world, and despite what people may think, it's not controlled by the government, in fact, I have often seen its news readers lay into MP's with some pretty hard questions.

What specifically was my insult? I'd like to know exactly was this insult was that I delivered.... was it an insult for me to say that OP called us all socialists for not liking Fox News, when he in fact he does not know the specifics of any our political leanings? Because actually, THAT was the insult. In fact, it was exactly and definitively stereotyping when he called us all socialists for not watching Fox News. But of course it's fine for him to stereotype us since you agree with him regarding his news station of choice. (As I stated previously, I am anything but a socialist. I am a staunch constitutionalist and I said earlier that all MSM is bull#)

Just like the OP tried to use Hitler to demonise socialism. Even IF Adolf was a socialist, it doesn't make socialism bad. In fact socialism has nothing to do with being good or bad, it is simply an economic system, and really guarantees nothing. Just like capitalism can not guarantee you freedom. Capitalism can be as totalitarian as any economic system. In fact I believe capitalism is a totalitarian system, cleverly disguised.

Not one of your links proves that sharia law has taken over the UK.

Just because "Lord Phillips, the most senior judge in England and Wales, has said that principles of sharia law could play a role in some parts of the legal system." doesn't mean it will, and even if it did, it would apply to Muslims only, and would only be applicable in small zones. I doubt it will ever come to that though, there would be uproar.
