I can't speak for US banks, but aren't we talking about VISA and MC and the rest of the motley crew here?
My personal VISA card is replaced within 24 hours if it is lost or stolen and I can reverse money used without my consent within a few days to a week. Probably quicker if I spend a few minutes on the 800 numbers each day to push the process along.

Here's the thing...I don't mismanage my credit cards. Just because others DO have a problem managing their expenses with them, doesn't mean everyone should reject them. We pay our credit cards off every month...in full. We don't charge more than we can afford. Period.

There are many benefits to using credit cards, if you manage them properly. For example, we have one card affiliated with a cruise line. We are almost 1/2 way toward the number of points needed for a free cruise!!! If we can use the cards properly, pay NO interest, AND get a perk like a free family cruise, WHY NOT????

Unfortunately, one is not taken seriously when one uses poor spelling and grammar. If the group wants to be taken seriously, they need to learn how to edit/revise...they could always ask a friend to check over it for them. I don't believe it was my best argument...only a suggestion for a better use of their time. Did you read the rest of my argument???

See, you being rude to ME is unnecessary. I was criticizing the OPRobinHood movement. I don't know why you need to make it personal.

A comment about our Banks (or rather how we now view our banks)
