So I told myself I would never write about this. After years of seeing hoaxes, crappy videos, and overall laughable 'evidence' I finally want to interject my own stories. I can't talk about this stuff to the average person these days. When I was younger in the 90's it was more acceptable than it is now, weird how it got more hush hush as time went by.

Anyways.

There was a 6 year period from about 19-24 where I started having strange happenings with UFOS. 24-27 I lived with a "spirit" or "ghost" or entity". All things stopped and my last experience was about 4 years ago. Since 27 years old I have had 3 remarkable experiences. The last one though was the most remarkable and terrifying and I wanted to share it for people who have not, from someone who has, if it helps anything I dunno.

My Aunt was dying in Arizona. I volunteered to go see her in her last days, as sort of a representative of the family. I lived in Los Angeles at the time (still do). I drove what I remember to be the 10 East. I hit somewhere in the middle of the Desert (obviously) and I was supposed to take a turn somewhere after the 10 East. At the time all I had was a Mapquest print out on my seat and a first gen cell phone.

I wasn't supposed to take the turn though, I was supposed to take it much later closer to Phoenix. It had the number 3 in it, like 330 or something, can't remember and never retraced my steps, maybe I should.

Anyways, it was about 11:30 at night. There was nobody out there and I took a turn between two hills, and into basically just open desert. There was NOBODY out there so a light in my rear view mirror caught my eye. It was about 1/2 Mile behind me. I thought it was a motorcycle cop at first. It had a red 'light' around it with a blue haze. I thought I was in trouble.

I was doing about 65 on just a two lane open road.Again, nobody for miles in front of me, now towns visible, no one behind me.

I look in my rear view mirror and notice the "motorcycle" made some serious ground. I thought I was in trouble. Maybe a thief, a cop, a drug lord thing, dunno.

So I'm slowing down a little and looking at this thing in the rear view and it flies OFF the road into the desert/tumbleweeds. I said "Oh F***". I knew something was wrong. I got a sick feeling because I hadn't had experiences like these for a long time at that point. Anyone who experienced this knows the 'feeling'. It's like a feeling a trapped rat or something would get. Like your powerless and you can feel something is wrong with the flow of things, almost cartoonish.

Anyways, I slow down to about 50 and trying to keep my eye on the road but starring in my rear view thinking maybe I'm tired and imagined him fly off the road. He's gaining on me and then BOOM, he goes from left to right about a thousands yards on either side of the road in about 5 seconds.

It then got back on the road, but now it's bluish white. I recognize the color, but that's another story.

It's about 1/4 Mile behind me and I look harder in my mirror and it's trailing me exactly speed for speed so I pull over thinking I'll just wait for it to pass. I'm hugging the shoulder at about 10 MPH and it matches my speed. I yell out "What the F*** man". At this point I pick up my phone but it had no roaming on it and it was dead. I couldn't get a call out. Still out in the middle of nowhere and NOBODY visible for miles. I keep looking in the rear view and side mirror (my window was down)

I started driving again a little faster. It was like it was locked at a certain distance. I look closer, mind you I'm still driving, and I realize it's not a headlight, it's a "BALL" It was about 3 feet off the ground and the street underneath was glowing from it. At this time I was almost hypnotized by it, I almost couldn't take my eyes off. Looking at it had this gravity effect or something. Like a trance

It then "split" into three "rails". Can't really describe it, I would have to draw it. But it was emitting "rails" and they were extending or something. Coming toward me faster than the ball itself. Like rays coming off of a light in a photo. I should have said "Rays" but it's hard to explain.

Something in my said to pull over. I don't know why, but I there was half curiosity, half total fear, I knew that this thing wasn't "earthly" by now.

So here I am on the side of the road and I am stopped, car running , foot on brake. It stopped too and just sat there about 1/4 Mile behind me. I'm starring in my rear view now and I can't breathe or swallow and I'm shaking. Probably the most intense feeling I've felt, just pure adrenaline.

About 15 seconds in, my red tail lights are lighting up the tumbleweeds and the road behind me.

OUT of the F***ING darkness, a MAN literally appears like an apparition and is running at my car from the road and he screams "WAIIIIT" or "Heyyy waiiit" and then some inaudible line. This happened in a split second. He literally came OUT of the BALL on materialized from the dark. My brake lights even shined against him. As he yells he tried to grab my back hood/ fender.

I GUNNED it and all I remember were rocks flying and my wheels spinning. I was in full panic. I was going about 100 MPH in seconds. I think I almost busted my car because I hit the gas harder than ever with a car. (2001 Malibu 4 Door at the time).

I get up to about 110 and the BALL is now chasing me again. I'm yelling by now out the window and screaming holy hell "Leave me alone" and various other things. I even try my phone again while driving like a maniac with my left hand. This goes on for about a minute and then I see like an electrical power station on my left, a small one for a small community.

I look up ahead and see one lonely freaking gas station in the middle of nowhere with one trucker sitting there. I drive up next to him and yell out, "There's a ball of light chasing me!!!" and just rambling like a crazy person. I pull over and get out looking back on the road and see nothing. I walk up to his cab and he drives away. I probably would have too, I was out of my mind.

I run into this gas station to call back home and tell my family what happened, but I had to piss like crazy and their bathroom was broke. So I went down further to this truck stop/rest and in the bathroom next to me was a trucker. I was shaking and talking to myself. And he looked at me like "wtf dude". I told him what just happened. He tells me that he's been a trucker for 30 years and seen wild "sh*t" in his time. He told me that one time a government agency had to escort a fleet of trucks through the desert because there were so many cases of UFO's "following' them and harassing them.

I'm thinking at this point I've stepped into bizarro world or I'm dreaming. This guy is actually telling me "It happens all the time man". Like seriously?

I get to my hotel and call every police station in the area. I ask about a man injured or any reports.

PLEASE NOTE. This man was in the middle of nowhere on a desert road at about 11:30 at night. I didn't see him while I was driving. He LITERALLY materialized out of thin F'ing air and tried to grab my car while yelling.

No reports, no calls nothing. Who would have? This was out in the middle of NOWHERE.

I'm running out of post space...I'll continue below.

The 'man' that came out of the BALL, or the dark, can't explain it.

He was "White" (European) looking. He had long unkempt hair, almost like dreads but not quite. He had a long scraggly beard. He looked about 45 or so, but he didn't look like he was from this era.

He had like almost military clothes on. Like old Khakis. The thing I noticed most was he had a green bag on his front or side. It shimmered green, but I can't be exact because my red brake lights maybe skewed the color. He looked like he had been wandering forever or hadn't seen someone forever. Writing now makes it come back a bit.

He just didn't seem like even a homeless guy, almost like a POW just broke free or something.

Part of me wonders how much trouble he was in. He sounded very scared and I just hit the gas on him. But I was out in the desert and he MATERIALIZED out of the darkness. I mean, wtf? Was I supposed to stick around. I was panicked.

I have so many questions like did he need me or was it a trap?

Sorry but writing about it makes a feeling come up I put away fro a while.

I've had many 'experiences" but this was my biggest one. Others I've had were scary but not like this.

Anyways, I personally know that there is something 'out there' . I'm not religious, that ended when these things started happening ironically. I like to stay skeptical about most things. But I've experienced too much to say we "know" what's going on. We don't. I can't prove it, but I've seen many unexplainable things. None of which fit with science. The other experiences are hard to speak about also. I had an "ability" that I won't go into, right now at least. But it scares me to think about because it doesn't make sense and the "ability" stopped after a certain age.

Sorry for rambling, I just haven't spoken about this. Thanks for listening.

Cool story....you should write a book, though i fear this plot has been covered more than once

Im pretty sure everything you have written is from a film i watched a few years ago...if not then its very similar...too similar. (going to look for it now)

Yup...im the resident skeptic

That's okay. I'm a skeptic too. This is just my personal story.

I can tell you certainly it's not made up. But then again I appreciate your skepticism. I've railed on many "UFO" people on boards.

I guess now is my time to be on the other side of it.

No offense taken. But it's hard to tell a story like this and have someone claim "Hey cool story bro, heard it before".

Kinda hurts, but it's life.

Great story!

There are many here, myself included, that have had experiences. So don't think no one will understand!

Also, i think it's actually a bit more acceptable to talk about "these types of things" these days.

Anyway, i have no clue what to tell you. The only thing i will say is that the UFO's that look like White or red, or any colored balls, are most likely some type of higher entity. These could be the inter-dimensional beings, "angels", what have you.

Maybe that could have been your chance to communicate with one.

But in the same situation, i don't know what i would have done.

Keep the stories comin'!

Thanks.

I'm mostly into political discussion. But I had to write this because only 3 people or so know about this part of my past. It gets lonely. But then on the opposite side you have "wackos" on the internet claiming everything is a UFO or "alien"

I have no home base with either side. Yet I railed for years against UFO people. I think because as a real "expierencer" I took offense at the fraud or lack or skepticism.

So here I am on the other side. It just feels good to write it. I was almost shaking recounting it.

Feel's nice to just get it out.

wow, i feel a lot like you do.

I've had many strange experiences.. lights in the sky, things moving around my room, weird sleep experiences.

I've written out threads before detailing my experiences, but i just was never up to defending them. Cause there are members here that will belittle and berate you for simply sharing an experience. ( PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPENNN OMGZZZ) GOD how annoying!

But yea, thanks for the read.

Always keep an open mind. I think people forget just how amazing it is that we are here, having this conscious experience. That to me, is proof of the amazing.

peace

I can see how someone would attack it, I've attacked people online too about their so called experiences.

It's just strange to open myself up to be the 'story teller'.

I fully expect people to berate me. I won't lie and say it doesn't bother me. It's just ironic that I'm on THIS side now.

But I'm glad I can still be anonymous and tell it. Thank God for that.

Fantastic story. I've heard similar from people I've sat with and know just how bizarre these experiences can get. It's like there really is a twilight zone out there and anyone can get sucked in just for a few minutes, hours, days, or weeks. Awesome stuff. S&F

I'm very well aware of the goings on at ATS. There are intelligent skeptics here that can search anything that looks 'plagiarized". I'm sure with all the stories out there something will sound similar. And I'm sure when you find one, you'll be the first to call "hoax".

But I promise you, this is a genuine story. I know it's been said many times on ATS. And I think there should be more stringent rules on hoaxes for truth's sake.

But this time is not one of them. I assure you.

Thanks. This is ONE experience out of many that made me question my own sanity. The truth is stranger than fiction sometimes. That's why it gets lonely to hold it in for so long. even I think it's crazy reading it.

Well, gotta go to bed. I guess I'll check back tomorrow and answer any questions or whatever.

Don't be too harsh to me while I'm gone. lol

i dont understand how someone can claim to have had this experience and many others but in the same breath claim they are a skeptic..

Maybe its just me, but that doesnt seem congruent with someone who has had many experiences/encounters..

i mean, if bigfoot chases you through the woods... would you still remain skeptical about his existence?? i think not...

I've had lots of experiences but am still sceptical of a lot of stuff. When you see or experience something ultra strange it doesn't make you a blind believer in all of it.

I might not have believed the OP but given the way he wrote his own story, with feeling and all, I think he's telling the truth, as he saw it. If he says later on, "haha, I fooled you all", it's no skin off my back. I've heard much stranger stuff than this and I believe them.

But I still don't know what 'it' is yet.

Thanks for sharing this, more folks need to put their experiences out there. As another said, many are trashed for sharing or showing pictures or such. My wife and I have and are having experiences and it gets lonely keeping all to ourselves when we know of the others. Con often warns me not to talk of these things, so we fake it mostly.

Many years ago when she was in another marriage, she was going to pick up her husband from a town 16 miles from home, a desolate area in northern Mi. As she topped a large hill called the hogs back at night, a large light followed the car and then hovered over her car, then nothing. She arrived at the town two miles away, two hours later. When I ask what she did during the two hours, she can only say, "i was lost", but the town was straight ahead.

Yeah, i've had my own experience (nothing like this though) I won't go into it, I did on another thread and it felt like I just hijacked the posters story (for which I felt really bad).

I understand how skeptics can get you, in mine I mentioned lights that looked recessed kinda but the beam went straight down and some (insert profane language here) replied oh it was military flares. I was like did you read either one of our posts?

I do believe that you experienced this. I would be very scared as well if I was paced by some glowing light and a man popped outa nowhere and tried to grab my car.

Meaning, I'm HIGHLY skeptical of 'evidence' and 'proof' people claim on ATS or the internet for that matter.

I don't think you and I have the same definition of the word 'skeptic' going on.

You can have a UFO experience personally, yet be skeptical about UFO evidence.

I personally believe 85% of videos and photos and such claiming "UFOs" are crap, but I've had about 10 UFO and paranormal experiences myself. I can't claim to know what they were, but I just know they don't fit scientific models.

So I am an "expierencer", yet skeptical. I don't think they're at odds with each other.

Wanted to add for anyone interested.

I was roughly 1 1/2 hours west of Phoenix. I remember because I made the wrong exit early and it was on a Highway that had a similar number to the one I was supposed to get off of near Phoenix. After this whole event when I was safe at the truck stop/rest area, it took my about 1 1/2 hours to get to Phoenix. I was averaging 80 MPH travel time the whole way.

Where this all happened was a road that split off between two hills. Like a Valley down into no mans land. I remember just before this happened I noticed radio antennas on a hill. While being chased and flooring it after the guy ran out from the dark, I noticed a small "power station" on the left, about maybe 100 feet long, something good for a small community. I also MAYBE remember a rock quarry, but not sure.

The gas station I stopped at was one of those weird named ones. Not like ones in Los Angeles. Had a name similar to AM/PM, but cheesy sounding, not "Circle K" either. Wish I could remember more without retracing the route.

Did you finish the story? How was your aunt? After you left the truck stop, did you continue without further events? Did you retrace this route on your way home? Did anything happen?

I don't think you should feel badly for not stopping. It was isolated, dark, and you were alone. The thing was trying to frighten you. I'm glad you left it.

My Aunt died 2 weeks later. She had late stage lung cancer.

After I left the truck stop I found a Hotel just outside Phoenix and called the police to report everything. I called about 3 stations around the area I thought it happened in.

I drove home 3 days later in the afternoon and tried to retrace my steps but didn't have time. I had to get back to life in L.A. I think if I did the route again going toward Phoenix I might remember the spot.
