So a channel that goes to court and fights for the right to lie and call it "News." represents American values?
Can you expand on that?
It’s against the law to lie on television in Canada. Canadian conservatives tried to change that law so FOX could broadcast in Canada. They were unable to get the law changed, so FOX does not operate in Canada!"

First, you should specify what lies they are telling. I'd love to hear it.

You're right, I should have pointed out those are satire images, not actual Fox newscaps - they come from this page: What if Fox News had been there for other key moments in World History?

You are not a member of Mensa.
Proof: You watch Fox and take it for real.
Further proof: You can prejudge everyone not in your book on this board for being liberal - there are more shades than only True American Republican and icky liberals.
But I don't blame you, it's part of the US-American system, two parties are so much easier to steer than having a third or even a fourth party in politics. This basic concept pervades your culture, just look around. There is always one thing (which you like) and the opposite (you hate that, of course). Where is the middle piece?

No disrespect but to you happen to read the first page of this thread at all?
Many of them are right there.
Anyway, when you get done with that you might try reading my post and actually responding to what I wrote. That might be why you missed the lies on the front page.
I did not actually say that they lie.
I said the WENT TO COURT AND FOUGHT FOR THE RIGHT TO TELL LIES AND CALL IT NEWS.
Either you do not understand English or you knew you could not challenge that. If the latter is the case, why say anything at all I wonder.edit on 29-11-2011 by TamaraChristine because: (no reason given)

Oh dear, just been to the fox-homepage..
Just look at these headlines: "Tonight on the O'Reilly Factor
8/11p ET: An illegal alien released by a federal agency and then accused of murder? We have the shocking update!" Year, very shocking, indeed. Didn't have enough fire in it, so it had to be pronounced how "shocking" it is.
You know, we have something similar here in Germany, called "Bild" - its a simple, loud tabloid, running (as "Die Ärzte" once sang) "Angst, Hass, Ti**en und den Wetterbericht" = Fear, Hate, B00bies, Weather.
Of course, this "news"paper sells well, you can consume it without thinking about or even remembering of the story, it just runs along, entertaining you.
And thats all there is: Entertainment.
Do you want to live your life and make its decisions based on entertainment?
