Wanted to start this thread with the regards that after noticing this one....I looked at the world map, and it seems like the number of 5+ has increased, a lot. Is it me, or is anyone else noticing an uptick? I am not trying to add to the fear mongering, but with the uptick in yellowstone and some very strange quakes throughout north america. The earth seems to be a lot more active than it was a decade ago.

Well that sucks for Puerto Rico. I send my prays and condolences to the those left unfortunate.

EDIT. Didn't realize this in till now, and I feel bad about bringing it up but a 5.1 in the U.S unofficial 51st state? Just thought that was an interesting coincidence.

I think its Puerto Rico I could be thinking of something else.

I live in Carolina, in the northeast, i work overnight so i was up all night and I didn't feel a thing.
I didn't know about it until my boss came in at 7 am. He felt it. Everything's ok here.

To the other poster, PR, is U.S. territory. But statehood movement is huge here.
