It is very strange to see a number of legitimate websites are running this sort of article. I hope the government will release whatever this aircraft is soon because it seems to be very revolutionary (perhaps anti-gravity). Should be very interesting to follow.

MSNBC: www.msnbc.msn.com...
This is

The United States is currently experiencing a wave of Flying Triangle sightings that may have intensified in the 1990s, especially towards the latter part of the 1990s. The wave continues. The Flying Triangles are being openly deployed over and near population centers, including in the vicinity of major interstate highways.

An eyewitness in Port Washington, Wis., described a large object that flew over her home at an altitude of 500 feet in October 1998. The witnesss husband is a graphics artist, so this graphic reconstruction from the pair shows a football field-sized, wedge-shaped object with flashing red, blue and white disco lights.

National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS) www.nidsci.org...

In mid 2004, NIDS again reviewed our database comprising the locations of the Triangle sightings in the United States. We find (see the Map #1) the sightings of Triangles appear primarily adjacent to population centers and along Interstate Highways. From the map, the Triangle sightings cluster on both coasts. The flight path direction of the Triangle aircraft is shown by the direction of the black arrow on the map. If an arrow points west, the Triangle was reported flying west. The results are shown here:

SPACE.com : space.com... (pretty much the same as the first two but a bit more info)

Very interesting that those sightings happened in populated areas, especially around the Great Lakes area. Wonder why would they fly over there for, if not for a little sneak preview of the coming aircraft. I hope this aircraft is worth our tax money.

Why doesn't one fly over my house? It would freak me but would be very cool. I could feel more assured about there being alot more things going on than I/people are generally aware of.

What do you think the type of aircraft is? Could it be anti-gravity? That would be really cool

I've watched stealth bombers flying about Edwards
Air Force base, during the day and night. From a
distance they look like large triangles, black, and on
edge they seem to disappear. They really don't look like an
aircraft when flying and could easily be described as
a UFO triangle shaped with flashing lights at night.
When flying overhead and going slow they look like
almost floating and you don't hear any engine noise.
Some of these UFO sightings may be Stealth
bombers or vehicles with related airframes. The
increasing incidence of sightings do coincide with
increased manufacturing of the vehicles.

Hey now you remind me. A B-2 flew over my house near McChord Airbase a while back and it flew reallly slow but the only thing gave it away is the engine roar. I heard the engines roaring above the house and i came out to see it and it was my first time seeing a stealth bomber with my own eyes.

Jazzmaster said "..heard the engines roaring above
the house and i came out to see it .." Can you
estimate the altitude? The B-2 uses large bypass
turbofan engines. It is quieter than older
conventional engine designs and in the B-2 noise
is abated even more with the engine exhaust
outlets above the wing rather than below.
But at low altitude especially if climbing after
takeoff it would still be noisy.

Well my house is about 5 milies away from the base and it faces directly the the runways, almost. The plane was heading toward the runway so i suspected that it was trying to land there to refuel or something. I am not good at guessing altitude but i'd say the B-2 was about the size of a...what's the comparable thing...like a 20 inch computer monitor. I could see the details and the land gears beneath the plane. May be "roaring" is a bit exaggerated, but it was quite loud that i could hear it coming. May be because it was landing and my house is so close to the runway that the sound of the engines was loud like many other type of aircrafts . Very cool.

I think this should be moved to either the Aircraft or Mil/Gov Projects forum.

I thought this was scientific enough to be here.

If there are so many of these triangles and they fly so slowly over cities, highways, etc., then why aren't here any pictures of them?

(off topic a bit i think but) From that 3d illustartion, it looks like some sort of Enforcement ship.. with the lights, but thats only my opinion.

Ive seen a few flying triangles, everyone of them was a stealth fighter. Even seen a stealth bomber flying once, both an impressive sight. They were flown here to show off in airshows.

Well the first flying triangle sightings were in the 50's and 60's...

What altitude does it fly at. For something of that shape, I'm supposing not that high. How about its speed, any reports of it being clocked.

im just hinting at the red, white and blues lights in the representational picture of the craft, but maybe its some kind of new security craft, like "sky police", that patrol over US soil?? any takers? cause its either that, or this earth seems to be pending on alien invasion.
dfh out.
