word, but i think it's definitely important to at least just allow ourselves to accept the implications of one (yes all it takes is one) UFO picture being legit. having the mindset that regardless of ANYTHING it must be fake because of 100% certain belief in there being no E.Ts is worse in my opinion.

sadly im sure someone will throw out a vaguely tangible hoaxing theory which everyone will jump on top of and destine this genuinely interesting picture in the 'move along, nothing to see here' bin.

i'm guessing someone will discover that this pic was once approved/endorsed/mentioned by a 'known hoaxer' and thus the discrediting can begin. sad, really.

Nice photo OP, I can't help but feel I have seen it before or something similar, are you able to upload a higher definition copy of it? scanner maybe? something we can go town on.

On a side note: Your avatar looks very similar to a illustration of a book I read by Dolores Cannon is it by chance?

I'm not very technically savvy, but I am having my 20 year old son try to scan it for me now...from there I'll try to get it on here.

Thank you...dad passed away this past september. I just picked the Avatar because I liked it...no real knowledge of where it came from...afraid I butchered it a bit putting it up trying to make it fit.

When you say you have seen photos similar to this are you talking about people in your area, around the mountains? this photo really has similar appearances to that of Billy Meier I am going to go out on a limb here, probably the first time here on ATS that I have and say there is something about this photo that I am intrigued in and I don't think you are a hoax.

Don't be so disrespectful, show some manners and decorum, innocent until proven guilty. if this is a hoax then let the moderators deal with it. If you don't like it there are plenty of other threads you can get in to.

I don't know who took it, but I know I have seen one in a book or magazine that was very similar...even to the mountains in the background.

You are being very defensive. There is nothing disrespectful in what i said, its simply the truth. I have heard this exact back story to a UFO pic that was reported to be found by a son before. In fact it was a very famous case. At no time did i say this was a hoax but at the same time im not about to blindly accept that this is 100% real because the picture comes with a tragic story. I would like to see a picture of a real UFO as much as the next man.

With all due respect if you present a picture like this to the world then its going to be analyzed along with the back story.

I have just been looking at Meiers photos and the shadow of the UFO looks similar. One thing that is nagging me though this object must have been stationary in order to get a clear shot. take a look at meiers photos and let me know what you think
