Israeli warplanes have carried out three attacks on the Gaza Strip following threats from Tel Aviv to cut the water and power supplies to the blockaded coastal sliver, Press TV reports.

The Israeli fighter jets targeted central and southern Gaza on Sunday. No casualties have been reported so far.

On Saturday, Israel threatened to cut the supply of water and electricity to the Gaza Strip if the Palestinian movement of Hamas and Fatah establish a unity government.

Deputy Israeli Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon claimed a Palestinian unity government "would put an end to any hope for a peace agreement" with Tel Aviv.

The Israeli military frequently bombs the Gaza Strip, claiming that the deadly military attacks are carried out for defensive purposes.

However, the Israeli use of disproportionate force, in violation of international law, has always been employed against largely defenseless Palestinian territories, inflicting heavy losses in life and property on the civilian population.

Neat stuff.
The israelis bombed the strip because they would not cow to their threats.
SOP for israel, and people still defend this terrorist state.

Remember the U.S.S LIBERTY.

There are more about the terrorist state on the history book , there is always more to learn about them.

I wonder how American people are just supporting Zionists while there are Jews in every country living in piece. They don't feel well immigrating to Israel.

+ There has been lots of terrors and killings done by that state.

On 14 May 1948, the day the Mandate officially ended and the day before the bulk of the remaining British troops departed, Israel declared its independence and sovereignty, though without specifying borders. The next day, the Arab League reiterated officially their opposition to the "two-state solution" in a letter to the UN.[25] That day, the armies of Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq invaded the territory partitioned for the Arab state, marking the beginning of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The nascent Israeli Defense Force repulsed the Arab League nations from part of the occupied territories, thus extending its borders beyond the original UNSCOP partition.[26] By December 1948, Israel controlled most of the portion of Mandate Palestine west of the Jordan River. The remainder of the Mandate consisted of Jordan, the area that came to be called the West Bank (controlled by Jordan), and the Gaza Strip (controlled by Egypt). Prior to and during this conflict, 713,000[27] Palestinian Arabs fled their original lands to become Palestinian refugees, in part, due to an alleged promise from Arab leaders that they would be able to return when the war had been won. Many Palestinians fled from the areas that are now present-day Israel as a response to alleged massacres of Arab towns by militant Jewish organizations like the Irgun and the Stern Gang (See Deir Yassin massacre). The War came to an end with the signing of the 1949 Armistice Agreements between Israel and each of its Arab neighbours.

Besides the fact that the Palestinians have never agreed to any of the U.N. Resolutions or offers made to them throughout history, the Arab world and terrorists in the region are now obviously using them as pawns to pursue their own agendas, knowing that the Palestinians will never be strong enough to rule, govern or protect themselves.

Here is some information inside the link I provided below:

Refugees could ultimately bring about Israel's destruction, a sentiment expressed by Egyptian Foreign Minister Muhammad Salah al-Din:

"It is well-known and understood that the Arabs, in demanding the return of the refugees to Palestine, mean their return as masters of the Homeland and not as slaves. With a greater clarity, they mean the liquidation of the State of Israel." (Al-Misri, October 11, 1949).

The plight of the refugees remained unchanged after the Suez War. In fact, even the rhetoric stayed the same. In 1957, the Refugee Conference at Homs, Syria, passed a resolution stating:

"Any discussion aimed at a solution of the Palestine problem which will not be based on ensuring the refugees' right to annihilate Israel will be regarded as a desecration of the Arab people and an act of treason." (Beirut al Massa, July 15, 1957).

The treatment of the refugees in the decade following their displacement was best summed up by a former UNRWA official, Sir Alexander Galloway, in April 1952: “The Arab States do not want to solve the refugee problem. They want to keep it as an open sore, as an affront to the United Nations and as a weapon against Israel. Arab leaders don't give a damn whether the refugees live or die.”

During the years that Israel controlled the Gaza Strip, a consistent effort was made to get the Palestinians into permanent housing. The Palestinians opposed the idea because the frustrated and bitter inhabitants of the camps provided the various terrorist factions with their manpower. Moreover, the Arab states routinely pushed for the adoption of UN resolutions demanding that Israel desist from the removal of Palestinian refugees from camps in Gaza and the West Bank. They preferred to keep the Palestinians as symbols of Israeli “oppression.”

Its funny how PressTV doesn't mention the real reason Israel attacked Gaza strip, which is, they were hit with even more missiles from there. If Mexico were firing missiles into the United States on an almost daily basis, I would want our Military to drop a few bombs on them also.
